What you do not understand is that education and science, which explains why we need to reduce fossil fuel, did not manage to make the industrialzed nations change their ways. That the Kyoto protocol and the current carbon trading scheme was devised as an alternative way to change industries. That they did not want to use force and law, but economic incentives to change industry. That it is actually pretty decent and smart how they try to do it. And that little consumers like you have a problem with it is beyond comprehension. These things are about industries and pollution, it will hardly effect little you in your little wallet. And even if it did a bit, you should be happy to pay it instead of think it will only bring in nuclear disasters and shit. |
