so I decide to eat some cereal for desert yesterday...ran out of pie(my main dessert staple since the '70's) and needed something. I spied the old Cap'n Crunch box in the pantry...

It called out to me as if in sweet song. I grabbed the box, a spoon, bowl, and a gallon of milk and took a seat. As I poured the cereal out, I knew there was something special about these particular oats. After adding milk and taking my first spoonful, my suspicions were confirmed. This was the most delectable cereal I had ever encountered. My tastebuds were in heaven. Each bite was a symphony to my tongue. I could not stop eating. After my 4th or 5th helping, I realized I had eaten over half the box. I quickly put down my spoon and backed away from the table, something was off, as in not right. I could still hear the faint song of the voluptuous siren(and its been a while -just sayin') calling out to me...just one more spoonful, come back, please, were good for you...fortunately years of hardship and struggles gave me a will of iron. I was strong enough to withstand the temptations...after a few long, torturous minutes the maddening cereal lust subsided.:hfjerk:




Today I woke up with an odd feeling in mouth. My tongue doesn't seem to have full taste function, and the roof of my mouth seems to be roughed up and raw...Just what was going on in that delectably sweetened oat and corn mixture?? What plans did the Cap'n have for me?? What if I hadn't been strong enough to stop eating when I did??? Is this the real doom we should be watching out for?? Are they coming at us through delicious rolled oats and corn syrup now?? I have many questions...and I demand answers!
Im coming for you Cap'n..you and your way to tantalizing cereal that is..



Let this be a cautionary tale to all you fellow cereal lovers, stay alert and keep a watchful eye. It comes from all sides now. Beware the song of Cap'ns sirens, for they are devious and they are many...and they mean you harm, no matter how many vitamins and minerals they flaunt....peace
