Merovingian birthmark
Does anyone know what the original source is for the description of the Merovingian birthmark? With original I mean not THB & THG where everybody seems to take it from. It's probably right under my nose, but I just can't find it.
Much appreciated.

Re: Merovingian birthmark
Let me explain a bit further what information I'm looking for:
- Is the existence of that mark true or is it a ruse?
- Is the description correct? Are there clear pictures of it? I haven't seen anything convincing yet but I'm probably not looking in the right places.

The idea that everyone in a certain bloodline will have the same birthmark is epic bs, medieval fanwanking nonsense.

"Holy Blood Holy Grail" mentions the lizard shaped or Cross of Lorranne or double cross birthmark on their backs. Where those guys got the info for their early 80s book, I don't know.

I believe a large portion of the book has been proven to be horseshit. "Priory of Zion" nonsense, for example.

Re: Merovingian birthmark
That's my point exactly: where did the authors from HBHG get the information from?
And re the passing on of birthmarks: it could be genetically coded somehow, but I don't want to go in that direction, har har... it would mean half the world has it.

Re: Merovingian birthmark
One of the sources of HBHG apparently was a guy called Wallace-Hadrill but I don't have that book so I can't check. I'm not really interested in whether it is bull or not, just where the fact came from and why. I grew up with Merovingian history and it is not common knowledge. At least, I'd never heard of it until HBHG. (Maybe I'm just too stupid :[].)
Why I want to know it? I believe it is a clue to a puzzle I'm trying to solve.

Re: Merovingian birthmark
OP I was googling my own birthmark a few years ago and I recall coming up with a couple of hits on this, it was supposed to be a red birthmark in the shape of a cross or heart depending on which site you read and located on the shoulder blade back or heart again depends on the site.

Thing is if it was a red birthmark, like mine, also known as a strawberry or Hemangioma birth mark, these fade in pretty much every case before you hit your teens and are not past on genetically. Hope this helps.

Sorry OP I meant to add this originally, it came from Deuteronomy 33:12 "and he shall cover him all day long and dwell between his shoulders" Apparently this is how Benjamin was marked and some researches interpreted this to be the birthmark.

Mmm a seeker of the truth, maybe. I consider myself rather an adversary than a believer. I'm trying to solve a complex puzzle, in search for a specific item (not the l. exillis for a change, he he), and I'm now standing before the metaphorical door of the abyss, in doubt whether I should turn the key in the lock. I ploughed through the Rennes le Château subject and found some new facts and some well-known. Didn't encounter birthmarks but the crista crest/centurion stone looks promising. It makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately I'm always wary about things that make too much sense. We'll see.
This is my last post about it, anyways. Thanks for the help.

Birthmarks arent as important as Natal charts in Secret Societies

Birthmarks are just a trail for less informed ones to follow, Most people have em

Matter of fact the birthmark story is probaly the veil of the true meaning of natal chart since that is the true birthday mark of ones body.

There is outer info for the masses and there is "inner" info for those in "the know"

How tf would you ever be able to define the exact time and place of your conception? Unless you can extract your manufacturing date from your system. Can that be done already? Or doesn't it work that way for lizards?

After all, it's what you do, not where you came from, isn't it?. Who's in for a little fun at Bugarach next year, let's say December? Let's scare the fak out of newagers and make them pee their pants har har har. I have some scary larp stuff lying around. Reptilians ftw!
