Hey, if you're too poor to buy it they provide it to you, same as medical/medicaid/blue cross/food stamps etc....

So they're not going to throw you in jail because you can't afford it. All you have to do is apply.

They will fine you if you don't apply and can't afford it. If you don't pay the fine they'll take you to court. If you go to court they'll sentence you to commmunity service. If you balk on attending that they'll give a couple of weeks in your county jail and release you with the fine paid.

You'll still be required to apply for the insurance though, do it in jail during the two weeks you'll be staying there.

You think all of the above is bullshit? Listen, I've been to jail and in jail I've met many people in there for stupid shit like this, not paying for car insurance and whatnot. Fathers with a job and kids who have to go live with his sister while he's waiting out two weeks in jail because he couldn't afford to pay for insurance then couldn't afford the fine and couldn't take time off from work to do community service so he loses his job...and does jail time.



You think all of this is bulllshit, no none of this is made up, it's all rock hard reality folks and it's coming soon to a very typical American citizen near you so you better get ready and read up on your jail survival handbooks if you do not wish to pay into this. BUT if you're poor just apply for it and they can't take you to jail for not paying, they'll provide it to you like they provide other forms of welfare to poor people.
