Do you think Time Travel is gonna be possible in 100 years?

If it were possible we'd know.

Logically stated:

If time travel were ever to be invented in the future, then we would know about it here in the past because everything would change.

Man is too greedy/power hungry/stupid to control his urges while time travelling and would do something epically retarded and typically human like going back and boning Cleopatra while Marcus Antony gave him a handjob or something. And FUCK UP EVERYTHING that was to come after, thereby nullifying our reality and the reality of the people in the future who invented time travel in the first place, thereby breaking it so it never happened...creating a paradox that would suck you so fast and so suddenly through a black hole that you would think someone was flushing your soul down the toilet before you realized your head was stretched down your ass.

So no. The answer is most definitely no.

What about the philidephia experiment? Didn't they travel in time?

it already exists and its masters guard it so closely that it will NEVER become common knowledge.

and its used. for example. New discoveries are the result of time travel.

There is no such thing as time travel. What we have is that we travel through time.

its takes faith to believe that you traveled to another location in the spacetime continuum. if success was achieved at time travel most people would reject that they had traveled in time...all the data would be irrational and a smart person would simply assume that they made an error in calculation and they would return to their own reality.

the science involved is so advanced that the rules of logic break apart and because of this even the most intelligent minds will never achieve it because their logic will rule out the possibility. and they will forever fall short of actively participating in time travel.

i could postulate that YOU, OP, also exist somewhere on else on Earth, but its you, lets say, 20 years ago, and if you find your other self, you can change your own actions in the past and alter your present situation.

you would reject this. its not rational or provable. because you are a scientist.

you could however, by accident time travel and change your situation, and I suspect that if you thought you had done such a thing, you would reject it and call it coincidence.

and lets say more people do eventually figure it out...and they all travel through time to do what is most obvious...change their own present situation for the better.

to the extent that the change occurred at the expense of someone else, there is always the expectation that the person that experienced loss because of those actions would also time travel and change it back...causing a war.

so those that alter time must be mindful of blowback.

I am located in what I would estimate to be between 4500 and 4700 years ago in Northeast Africa...a succession problem has arisen and we are currently at war with a barbarian army that was brought upon us by a disgruntled household member in her attempt to seize her Father's Throne.

in the world you currently live in, she was successful in her bid and she placed her Son upon her Nephews Throne; he was eventually toppled but our state collapsed as a result.

our efforts have been successful and her army is near defeat and a settlement will be forced in about 2 months.

its not that what you know will go away, but your understanding of the matter will increase after that.

considering that Thrones are mentioned in historical literature 100,000s of times its quite obvious then that time travel, manipulation, etc. has existed for quite some time.

So if the nephew would have remained on the throne would your state still be intact?

My State, No. His State would be intact, as time would have been changed. time travel isn't done to keep things as they are. and we'd all be in an entirely different universe, possibly hostile and oppressive.

I time travel every single day.

I just returned from a trip 100 years into the future and time travel does not exist there.

There are several theoretical ways that time travel could take place. Thus it is theoretically possible that time travel can be done, thus somewhere in time, if humanity lasts long enough, we develop the means to exploit one or more of those theories.

I suspect that time travel HAS (already) taken place and that some of us have been aware of a shift in time.
