i think it very much upsets me that the church went so far out of their way as to label Buddhism a 'religion' and therefore it is seen as such by just about everyone in the west. im glad you found it. i would highly recommend studying Tao and Hindu simultaneously, even if it is just grabbing a used copy of the Tao Te Ching and Bhagavad Gita: As It Is.... the three 'religions' are thus far the best way man has found to communicate the uncommunicable: how to Be.
buddhism is one of many ways to become fully human, to truly experience your existence in this particular material manifestation. may your journey be blessed.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1174439Yes and what I'm finding out is that Buddhism is not a religion at all, in fact it does not contradict any religion, it can coexist with any religious beliefs. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 430652My beliefs too OP. Actually the tenants of each religion are all universal IMHO. The reason Christianity does not recognize Buddhism or any other non/C path is that they do not hold Jesus Christ as the pivital point in {what they call} the Trinity. Just my 2cents..Good luck. Be blessed. And Share!
