Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1465237Too many harmful chemicals in those. Also, I know of someone who got a stroke using the e cigs. It is best to get into a smoking cessation program. Check with your doctor. |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1474786 07/23/2011 06:52 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I quit for 7 years, then i picked the bad habit up three years ago, and quit many times in the three years, once as long as six months. seemed like nothing to quit but this time around it's so damn hard. Quoting: iknownothingseriouslyi wonder if they're putting more addicting agents in these lovely deadly sticks to make it harder to quit. anyone out there that has recently quit smoking? No. No you most certainly can not. You cannot have a cigarette unfortunately. Dont even think of having another smoke. You have been given a golden opportunity here to perhaps prevent something really bad from inevitably happening to you. If you pick up a cigarette again things could be a lot different this time round. And far from good. |

| 2320 User ID: 1451015 07/23/2011 03:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I quit for a year and half in mid 08. It was rough for the first 3 months. After 8 months I still had minor cravings when I was around it but the smell kept me away. After the 18 months I started again. Slow at first, only when I was out drinking but quickly went into full on smoker mode. Did that 4 months and decided it just wasn't for me. Been cigarette free last 14 months. I would say stay busy and exercise a lot. Sunflower seeds also help. : ) |

| JDSGUAM2 User ID: 1153141 07/26/2011 06:21 AM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Three weeks today for me ! Went cold turkey ! First week was hell, second week rough, third week not so bad. It does get easier !! Hang in there, Good Luck ! Quoting: Kat 2You didn't read my whole thread.. I've quit smoking for 3 yrs once and once again for 4 years - both cold turkey! I absolutely know I can do it if I have the mind to do so. I've done it before! This time around... I am wanting to embrace an alternative to smoking tobacco. I want to share this experience with so many others that don't know there is an alternative. Please understand, I am not a weak man - I am an individual that is looking for answers. This new technology seems to be the alternative! So sorry for the tobacco industry;but, for FFS people are out here looking for answers! And....... for those that are watching....... I have not had a single tobacco cigarette in now 3 days. Hurray for me and the rest of the enlightened! ................................... And - let me apologize for my rudeness last night - I'm only attempting to explan and share my new understanding of this new alternative to smoking. I am sorry if I was rude to all the "shills" out there - certainly your welcome here. |

Certainly, there are alternatives out there... free for the picking.. but, will our Government allow us such freedoms? Oh Hell No! |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 1361430 07/26/2011 07:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you injoy smoking your in trouble; You need to tell your self the trues. I cough shit up and then spit out gross yellow and green shit. I wonder if I have cancer. They make me my clothes smell like a dirty ash-tray They turn my fingers yellow. They make my teeth brown. They make my breath smell like dog shit. They burn holes in my furniture and car seats. They make my house stink and the walls turn yellow/brown. No one wants to set or stand next to me. (anywhere) My smoke is offensive to even to really nice people. I have to smoke in special areas just for people like me. They cost so much money and sometime I even use my credit card. I sometime have to go out of my way to buy a pack. I know people that died from smoking. Friend and people I know won't care if I died from smoking. I don't care if I suffer and die from smoking. I love smoking. Or I hate smoking and ignore this ! |
