Not to be a "name dropper" but I've had the honor of spending time with Rep. Ron Paul and members of his family on several occasions. Dr. Paul is as down to earth and unassuming in private as he is in public. He too holds to my ideals (or perhaps I should say I to some of his ideals) as he too is not calling for a violent revolution but rather for reformation from within. However, I feel strongly that although he may not personally "become involved" in a violent uprising he certainly would not voice too much opposition to those brave enough to engage in such accordingly.

Suffice it to say that I have been and am still "actively" involved in attempting to be non-submissive to evil, for I, like Gandhi stated, strongly believe that to cooperate with evil is in itself evil. And while I certainly understand that few human beings can follow the way of Satyagraha and will resort to violence, I would say, as did Mr. Gandhi, that if others MUST express themselves violently in order to accomplish their means then anything less would be hypocritical.

I do my part as well by not flying, I also talk to others about not flying (not going on rants like the OP,I'm sure people listen to that -sarc.) I also talked to my children and now grandchildren about not letting strangers touch them - badge, no badge or plastic badge - Our rule is 'hands off'.
