We know eventually the US will have its own sovereign debt crisis (we are only debating the US debt ceiling now) and see its own bonds interest rate skyrocket. But the US Budget debate coming at this time might prevent the US from stepping in again in another huge bank crisis that is now developing with speed in the EU.

On Wednesday gold broke out from a 10-week long box or rectangular consolidation pattern to commence its next major upleg. Fundamentally this coincided with noises emanating from the US to the effect that it is recognized that there is no alternative but to continue with QE. Denials later in the day caused the broad stockmarket to lose much of its gains, but the fact is that there is no alternative to QE, except a global systemic economic implosion, and thus, there is no alternative to QE, although attempts may be made to disguise the extent of it.

I will have to tell my sister to hang on to all her jewelry--she sells it on Ebay. I heard Silver might be better to accumulate than Gold.

As for me, I'm stocking up on food. You can do a lot of bartering with food--"hey, I'll trade you a loaf of bread for a roll of toilet paper".

My summer was fine until I had oral surgery yesterday, today I just feel yucky. Gross taste in my mouth can't get rid of! I have to be careful brushing and can only use a salt water rinse. I am thankful that is the worst of my problems {at the present moment}! My daughter is home with me and I feel lousy I am not up to par to spend fun time with her. I can't go out and do anything with her, can't even read a book with her right now.

I need some whine with that cheese.

I told my husband we should by silver, gold is too much at this point, when we first heard gold was a good investment we did not have the finances.

I have also thought about what good barter items might be, such as alcohol, I have a nagging feeling I should stock up and use that to barter with.

I might be back on later, my neighbor is coming over to watch my daughter for a little bit! Thank God, I have a great neighborhood, very old school, we all watch out for each other!! I need a nap!

I feel badly for the average person who is working hard yet sees their investments disappear like the morning haze.

I really think holding on to silver and gold is one of the only things [and praying of course] you can do right now.

As i said, When people were selling $1100 gold the Lord to me to hold. Now, Gold just hit $1600.

Therefore, this Word from God is now fulfilled.

China's Dagong Global has cut the credit rating on U.S. sovereign debt to A from A+, Chen Jialin, general manager of the international department at the firm told CNBC on Wednesday. The agency has also put the U.S. on negative outlook.
