as long as payroll taxes are taken from our checks, they have the money to pay our elderly the Soc Sec they have earned. We are also still paying Fed taxes that will cover other necessary expenses.

Not raising the debt ceiling will force these bozos to live within the means of this country. Guess they may just have to cancel some of their pet projects, get rid of useless agencies & reform the entitlements that have just become an ever increasing, insatiable monster creting an underclass of people who otherwise could have made lives for themselves.

It is sadistic & evil to threaten our elders this way. I wonder how many 85-90 year old Grannys out there are terrified out of their wits by this posturing because they do not understand that the younger people are still working to cover their Soc Sec? Makes me ill!
