It has been going on for a long time. I'm not sure what raw horse meat is going for these days, but in the mid 90's it was going for $18 an ounce in Japan. Nothing like loading an MD 11 full of live horses out of SeaTac on their way to Japan. I could tell you some stories about that shit.
