Point Conception doesn't have that many earthquakes compared with the rest of California.
Oh, by the way, i just learned today from an emergency management guy that the San Andreas and the Cascadia Subduction Zone faults are really just one big continuous fault and that if the Cascadia Subduction Zone fault goes it could very well trigger a large quake on the San Andreas.
Cascadia Subduction Zone Fault is next on the watch list for a massive earthquake, they have been warning neighboring emergency management workers along the west coast for months now....so watch out West Coast.
