The "good" guys love to stir the pot. Their job is to create Order out of Chaos. Quoting: Buford2 I suspect there is something more sinister going here than just "stirring the pot". I think this guys was whacked to either send a message to Karzai or because he wasn't cooperating to the CIA's liking in regards to the CIA's heroine business.

Kandahar police chief Abdul Razik told reporters: "The man carried his pistol through the security checks to Wali Karzai's room.
