Need advice from pet lovers; kitten vomiting up wiggly wormy things
We have 3 kittens. Two are vomiting tonight. One of them has worms in the vomit that are alive. I donīt understand. I just paid 200 bucks a few days ago for these kittens to be checked out by the vet and the vet said theyīre healthy. Did they lie to me and really not check them? Iīd dropped them off and then picked them up hours later in the afternoon. Iīll have to bring them back in the morning. Iīm not rolling in money. What should I do?

They have worms and will probably die soon unless gotten to the vet.

Thanks. They arenīt there at night. Can it wait until the morning? And shouldnīt the vet have tested for this?

Might be tape worms. Take to the vet, get some worm medication.

Kittens and puppies eat any nasty stuff they come across, and they got some with worm eggs. Happens. Panic not.

It can wait till morning, but youīre going to have to go.

Thereīs no way of knowing a kitten has worms of any sort until they start barfing them up, or one notices them in the feces.

You can check out [link to www.kittencare.com]
For more info.. but the vet is a must at this point.

Yes, it can wait for morning.

I donīt think the vets do or can test for worms (other than heartworm, which is a blood test). As you can see, if they get worms it is obvious. Also keep an eye on their stool - might see some wigglers there as well. I think some worm types show up by vomiting, others in stool. Donīt know if the same worms show up in both places.

Those are round worms. Just de-worm. The vet should have done that.

Oh yea, and save some of the worm/puke for the vet to see so he can identify what exactly the ailment is.

cant you go down to the chemist and get some de wormer paste? Really the vet should have done that himself, so sue him for negligence.

Oh and after the kittens have picked up de-worm everyone in the household. Humans, dogs etc.

Sounds like chinese food time for the furballs.

Maybe a good time to order seaweed salad instead.
