I have a 'thing' on my right leg (shin). It is under the skin and hard and is dark red. I want this removed but in the UK, things are not available on the NHS. What do I do, is it safe to do a self removal?

If you have something that should not be on your leg or in your leg and it's a health hazzard of course treatment IS available on the NHS and it is FREE at the point of use.
