I have a 'thing' on my right leg (shin). It is under the skin and hard and is dark red. I want this removed but in the UK, things are not available on the NHS.

What do I do, is it safe to do a self removal?

if U have the guts to feel the slicing.
go for it if U feel u must.
might to have a witness or film it too.

idk what to tell U...
i got one in my arm, drives me crazy w/ pain sometimes, so much so im almost ready to try but its not at a good angle so i really cant.
i sure want to though.

at least U will have 2 hands.

cold water will keep the blood from staining the towel afterwards.

If it hurts, go to the hospital. Tell them you are in serious pain.

why are you assuming it's an implant?
Chopping leg off should fix it though

By the way, THAT IS UNTRUE. If you have something that should not be on your leg or in your leg and it's a health hazzard of course treatment IS available on the NHS and it is FREE at the point of use.
