Trying to eek out a living in the Himalayas would be quite different to homesteading in the northwest US and Canada. Setting up a homestead on Mt Kilimanjaro or in the Swiss alps are going to give you an entirely different set of survival challenges. |

Great solar but kinda cold and water is an issue. Well depth is 500 feet. Pick someplace where you can easily grow your own food. I have to use a greenhouse due to the really short growing season. Land is cheap out here. I'm an author living a self-sustaining life off-grid in the mountains of Southern Colorado.
