It's a pity that grammar hasn't improved in the future.

I did notice a few posts (2 or 3) that had longer sentences than usual but otherwise, for the period of this thread, there is a lot of consistency. He didn't say the something big in August was the economy though. I would guess you didn't realize you had the economy in mind when you read it, so remembered it that way. (I do that all the time, LOL)
