I found next too Barry Goldwater's home (the one who ran for president). Here is a link to my blog. The stone-meteorite, is pictured on a Hopi photo book. Pan down the pictures and you will find it. I turned down $1,000,000 for it. [link to rd47blog.blogspot.com] |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1451969 United States 07/20/2011 10:30 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The one I found was buried in about six inches of sand. It was about 3 inches long and oval shaped. The top side looked like metal that had scorch streaks going in one direction across its face. It was only about a half inch thick and the underside had a bunch of iron crystals on it. Now here is the interesting part. The underside had an earth beach rock stuck to it obviously from the heat on impact. Took it to Revel College in La Jolla, Geology Department and stupid me did not get a receipt. They said they would mail it back but never did. Sniff sniff. I missed it so I bought a bunch of them on ebay. I've got pendants that are 4.5 billion years old. Meteorites are leftovers from the making of the universe. The oldest antiques on the world. |

THAT'S COOL. i was explaining to my daughter last night that if it is a meteorite, it is likely older than the earth itself. she was mesmerized. |
