Thanks, I posted the same thought on page 3. People let their fan appreciation of a band color the reality that that mega-popular rock bands are just as much a part of the whole mind control apparatus as TV, movies, media and politicians are. You don't get to achieve that level of success and fame unless you're allowed into that inner circle of the music industry, and you have to have a certain belief system in order to gain admittance.

Unfortunately Bill Hicks never lived to see the crap that is the Obama Administration. I LOVE tool, and I TOTALLY get their P.O.V., but, unless Maynard drank Kool Aid, I should like to read a more current interview about the CURRENT state of afairs... Obama has Eclipsed Bush on many fronts by now.

Tool unwittingly played at some sort of L Ron Hubbard arena in Los Angeles. Maynard spent most of the show making "bah, bah" sheep noises.

Tool is amazing live. I've seen them in Dallas, KC, Tulsa, OKC and St. Louis.

Danny Carey is a god on drums. Like a terminator.

Well, don't hold your breath waiting for that. As I said, to make it in the entertainment business, you have to have solid leftist credentials.

Hicks, Maynard, the whole lot of them, simply choose to overlook government oppression and stupidity when democrats are in charge. There are just as many examples of Obama and Biden making stupid verbal gaffes as there were of George Bush, Dan Quayle, etc. Obama is continuing Bush's wars and adding a new one of his own in Libya. Obama extends Bush's Patriot Act provisions every year.

Even if they WANTED to criticize him, they have to be extra careful and walk on eggshells because he has that protective coat of melanin and you wouldn't want to be tagged as a racist for daring to bad-mouth him.

So sorry, not impressed with Maynard, Hicks, et al, until they give equal time to democrats, because both parties are arms of the same friggin' octopus that is choking off freedom in Amerikkka.
