I think we'll be down to 500 million global population within 5 years, and that will happen regardless of what the 'elites' do or do not do. We face several extinction level events.

1) Volcanic winter is coming. How bad it will be I do not know. Could be bad. If we get one VEI7 or VEI8 added to the eruptions we have already had, then there will not be much food at all for a number of years. 77,000 years ago we had one VEI8, and it reduced the global human population to between 1,000 and 10,000 breeding pairs. Optimistically, there were maybe 50,000 people left alive on the entire PLANET.

2) The oceans and lakes are beginning to plume hydrogen sulfide. Scientists believe hydrogen sulfide plumes are what caused much of the die-off in the 'Great Dying', the Permian-Triassic extinction event. H2S is lethal to humans in concentrations of 1 part per thousand, the so-called 'slaughterhouse sledgehammer effect', where you are dead before you hit the ground. This is a self-reinforcing event which is likely to rapidly spiral out of control. The rotten egg smell of H2S has already been detected in Australia, California and Toronto. What do they all have in common? They are near the oceans. If that continues, if it spirals out of control, then oxygen-breathing life on Earth will mostly die, including us.

3) Biosphere destruction. Notice any mass animal die-offs lately? Plants are dying off too, including plankton, which produces a large amount of the oxygen we breathe. If our biosphere dies off 50% then the human race will have to do so too. It may die off 90%, and the human race will have to follow along. If we DON'T, then the survivors will devour the rest of the biosphere in desperate starvation and then we will go extinct.

So we are highly likely to be down to that 500 million level within 5 years. And really, that's if we're LUCKY. If we're UNlucky then we'll all be dead.

The capital letters of C R always puzzled me. There was talk it stood for the Rose Cross or Christian Rosenkreuz the original founder of the Rosicrucian Order. But I think it refers to the Club of Rome which makes for very interesting researching. Follow the the people associated with that Club and it will make your blood run cold.... or boil.

The problem with the stones and whoever put them up is that they have it in their minds that there has to be 6 billion fewer people in the world than there are now. So who decides who lives and who dies?

The other problem I have with them is that there is actually much more room and resources on the planet than necessary for 6.5 billion people if there is not a small percentage squandering these resources. Whatchawanna bet the same people who put up these stones are the same ones who are squandering these resources?

If population reduction is necessary, limits on reproduction should be set to two per couple world wide so that the population naturally declines.

I say if we are going to reduce the population , we should start with the elite classes first because they are useless and use a much larger proportion of resources> If the placers of the stones will agree to this, it would be different.
