This is going to be a HARD pill to swallow for some of you...it was (and still is sometimes) for me...but I'm doing better after realizing and admitting the following:
*Doom is ALL in your head. Of course the economy sucks right now...but that's what happens every so often. But there is NOT going to be some epic global crash where we wake up and it's like the cavemen days. Besides that, there is NO nibiru, planet x, whatever. Elenin is NOT a threat. No EMP is going to wipe out the grid. There is NO global conspiracy to start WWIII. And NO, aliens are NOT going to land or invade or whatever they do.
*Like I mentioned before, YOU created all this in your head, and for a reason. It's because you CAN'T deal with reality. You are all mentally divergent and have created this dark fantasy world because it makes you FEEL alive. It makes you feel like you are a part of something big and gives you some sort of adrenaline rush to believe you are sitting on the precipice of some great cataclysm or epic global transformation.
*You all need to seek help. I mean that in the nicest way. Maybe not professionally for all of you...but at least talk to someone about your disorder.
Trust me, it will get better.

You say Doom is all in one's head. well, that is partially true. Thoughts are energy, and if we collectively concentrate on doom that will be what happens. However that is not my point this morning.
This morning my point is that doom is happening - everyday. Just because it isn't jumping up and down waving its flag at you, does not mean it does not exist.
I am not saying that the world as we know it is going to implode, explode, be wiped out by an asteroid, WW3, etc. I am saying that you can not rule anything out. It is also logical that something major would happen in our lifetimes that will render humanity extinct. It has to happen at some point. We have to replenish the earth of all this oil we have stolen - we are the next fossil fuel.
Now, tell me, was Fukishima not doom enough for you to believe in Doom? I think 20 years from now the general public will know just how much doom that is.
Anyone who so adamantly refutes doom completely rather than accepts the fact that it is possible, now those are the people who "need to seek help".

Oh and we should all trust you that it will all get better. that is just hilarious. Really? You are going to clean up all the radiation, oil spills, wars, deforestations, free tibet, destroy factory farming, eradicate famine, provide clean water for everyone, etc. etc.? Now who the hell is delusional???
oh, and for the record, one feels most alive when one is farthest from any humankind, or human structure. when one has to work to survive - then one knows what is means to be alive.
