Taxpayers Lose $1.3 BILLION On Chrysler Bail Out
U.S. taxpayers likely lost $1.3 billion in the government bailout of Chrysler, the Treasury Department announced Thursday.

The government recently sold its remaining 6% stake in the company to Italian automaker Fiat, wrapping up the 2009 auto bailouts that were part of TARP.

Fiat paid the Treasury a total of $560 million for the remaining shares, as well as rights to shares held by the United Auto Workers retiree trust.

remember how we were all told that this wasn't a bailout? It was an investment and the U.S. taxpayers were actually going to profit from all of these purchases?

Obama can always afford bullets and bombs

The Obama administration has dramatically increased the drone attacks around the world. In Yemen, we’ve done cruise missile strikes, drone strikes, now we’re hitting regularly in Somalia. On July 6, there were 3 U.S. strikes; June 23rd, another U.S. strike inside of Somalia. A lot of liberals used to say “the world is a battlefield” was the bush doctrine. President Obama hit harder in more countries with special ops forces from the Joint Special Operations Command and the CIA than bush did.

Seriously, multiply that by 16,000 and you come up with the 16 TRILLION recently exposed to have been secretly given to banks and corporations, some of them foreign, by the Federal Reserve. SIXTEEN FUCKING TRILLION! And that was just in this one recent revelation. Apparently a more extensive audit's results are supposed to be released in October. That ought to be good.

Think about that. 16 Trillion and "their" national debt is less at 14+ Trillion. So they could have just paid off the debt instead and let those banks and corporations fuck themselves.

If anyone still doesn't realize that it's all over now, they're asleep. I get the feeling things are going to unravel very fast beginning in August. And by October, shit, who knows what this fucking place is going to look like.

Yeah. But don't you wonder why Ford was doing so well while the others foundered? I know it's not because Fords are any better vehicles than the rest. It may be because people think they are. Of course, I'm biased. I'm a chevy guy. Never had much luck with Fords. I did love my '70 Mustang, 'tho. Until it burned up in the driveway. lol.

Because we're the one's paying for ss, medicare etc. and it would boost the economy and kept the machine going. In other words had they given everyone, over 50, a million dollars and told them they had to use the money to buy a new American made car, have them pay off their house or purchase one for $150,000 minimum, and of course force them to retire which would open up the jobs for college grads or high school trades people etc. would solve the unemployment problem. Of course that would have been socialism. They opted for corporate welfare instead. This is all a dead argument now anyway, because as everyone now knows(The Fed audit of " where did this money go" released today, they gave out our money 16 trillion worth to foreign countries.)
