I smoke as well.. It is an addiction I have had for years. Way before I found the Lord. I have prayed for the Lord to set me free from this, throughout my walk with Him. He has not done so... and though I have tried on numerous occasions, I simply cannot beat this addiction. I am constantly repenting, and have just put it in the Lords hand.

Is it sin? Yes it is. But sin is sin...and whether you admit it or not, we are All still sinners. But glory be to God, we are no longer under the curse of sin. We have been set free, and can joyfully come unto the Father and worship, by the blood of the Lamb!

Paul said, the things that I don't want to do, I do. And the things that I want to do, I do not.

Jesus knows our heart. And as long as we don't willfully live a life of sin, we can know that we are forgiven. For nothing can separate us now from Christ.

Praise God!!!

yeah, but no. You must REPENT. That means turning ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DEGREES from your sin and sinning no more in that area.

I can fill the rest of this page "once saved, always saved" arguments by addicts who want to believe that they can get away with a lifetime of repetitive transgression, but it won't convince anyone who's a drug addict. You only hear what FITS your template of convenience and your habit.

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT YOU *WERE* SAVED, since you obviously have not been born again? Do you really believe that you can invite satan into your body every day of your life, then go directly to heaven in spite of your allegience to the satanic powers and principalities?

We all fight some battle like this, but I'd be seriously questioning if I was EVER saved in the first place, if I were you. (no judgment from me, just showing you my viewpoint from studying the subject.)

Wow! How exciting to know that we have a perfect person among us here.

Is that what I said? I don't think I said that!

And...are you "working out your salvation with fear and trembling" then? Or do you think you are you buying the non-catholic equivalent of "indulgences" by writing flowery language and "God Bless" Christian-speak here, and all the while missing the actual salvation because of your worldly lust?

Go ahead. Defend your FILTHY STINKING HABIT! Can you think of a MORE filthy stinking habit?....lol

BTW, if you REALLY BELIEVE that you are saved, you won't have any problem pulling out a cigarette and lighting up at church next Sunday, will you? (just in case you believe that the Lord isn't ALREADY convicting you, and causing a check in your spirit)

How about some TRUTH in this area for once, Lisa?

I know that I am saved......... But I would be very concerned if I were you.

Your selfrighteous attitude is what gives christianity a bad rap.

You make it so hard to win the lose for Jesus Christ. No wonder people call us a bunch of hypocrites. Maybe you need to do your own soul-searching... and come to the understanding, that we all need Christ, because we are all sinners. Not was. Everyone of us sin on a daily bases (except for you evidently). Every time we have a bad thought in out minds, we have just sinned. And on and on I can go.

According to you, Paul isn't saved than. Read my post further up.

Now, if you are through playing the role of a pharisee, maybe we can move on, and get back on the topic.
