Ok thanks.

First off, there is no such thing as a perfect christian. Jesus was the only perfect human. That's why He died for you and me, because we are imperfect.

You say that you used to feel God's presence before, but you do not now.

Can I ask if you pray on a regular basis? Do you talk to God and read His word?

Listen, when I first came to know Jesus, I was seriously messed up. I did alot of things that I knew were wrong. He met me where I was back then and loved me anyway.

Over time, those old bad habits started to fall away as I got closer to Him. I have one left, that is smoking, and I'm working on it.

Jesus doesn't expect us to be perfect, He just expects us to do our personal best. His sacrifice and faith in Him does the rest.

Smoking is pharmachia in the Bible, and is literally translated from the original Greek as "witchcraft."

You may THINK it's just an incidental sin, but does smoking control you, or do you control it? (rhetorical question)

You are FIRMLY in the clutches of the enemy and if you think that the "casual" use of a Ouji board is an open doorway to the demonic, what do you think that smoking does when you actually make the decision (multiple times per day) to draw the demonic drug INSIDE of you?

You are not playing with fire. You are embracing it! hf

I smoke as well.. It is an addiction I have had for years. Way before I found the Lord. I have prayed for the Lord to set me free from this, throughout my walk with Him. He has not done so... and though I have tried on numerous occasions, I simply cannot beat this addiction. I am constantly repenting, and have just put it in the Lords hand.

Is it sin? Yes it is. But sin is sin...and whether you admit it or not, we are All still sinners. But glory be to God, we are no longer under the curse of sin. We have been set free, and can joyfully come unto the Father and worship, by the blood of the Lamb!

Paul said, the things that I don't want to do, I do. And the things that I want to do, I do not.

Jesus knows our heart. And as long as we don't willfully live a life of sin, we can know that we are forgiven. For nothing can separate us now from Christ.

Praise God!!!

yeah, but no. You must REPENT. That means turning ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY DEGREES from your sin and sinning no more in that area.

I can fill the rest of this page "once saved, always saved" arguments by addicts who want to believe that they can get away with a lifetime of repetitive transgression, but it won't convince anyone who's a drug addict. You only hear what FITS your template of convenience and your habit.

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT YOU *WERE* SAVED, since you obviously have not been born again? Do you really believe that you can invite satan into your body every day of your life, then go directly to heaven in spite of your allegience to the satanic powers and principalities?

We all fight some battle like this, but I'd be seriously questioning if I was EVER saved in the first place, if I were you. (no judgment from me, just showing you my viewpoint from studying the subject.)

Again, another lie. This teaches me that you are either mistaken or a skillful liar. Smoking a cigarette is a bad idea. It is not inviting satan into your body. It is not what goes into the body that makes one sinful but rather what flows out of the heart..... like lies!
