If the little kid had been 15, it would have been pathetic. But he was just a little kid! And he wasn't throwing a temper tantrum, he was just expressing his disappointment. The focus shouldn't be on the little guy who was upset, it should be on the older boy who saw that the little one was so disappointed and responded instantly with generosity and kindness. There is goodness in the world if we just look for it. |
