Aspartame Poisoning and Wrigley´s Chewing Gum
For many years I chewed Wrigley´s Extra sugar free gum until I found out that it contained aspartame. Knowing that aspartame is a proven neurotoxin I switched back to what I thought would be a sugar gum, Wrigley´s Doublemint, only to find that it did use sugar, but now as also adding aspartame as a secondary sweetener! Now I was really pissed. I called Wrigley´s consumer hotline to protest and the lady answering the phone at first wouldn´t admit to knowing anything about the aspartame poisoning issue, ie, being a known neurotoxin, turning into formadehyde in your body, possible causative agent of multiple sclerosis, etc. Then when I told her I would no longer be buying their products since now they were putting aspartame in the regular gum and not just the diet gum, she suddenly came up with a list of three Sugar gums that do not contain aspartame. They are: Big Red, Wrigley´s Spearmint, and the Winter Fresh kind. I advised her to do a Google search under aspartame poisoning and see what she came up with, thanked her and hung up. I went downstairs to the pharmacy candy counter and bought a pack of Wrigley´s Spearmint gum, and lo and behold she was telling the truth! That particular flavor has no aspartame! Obviously the company hasn´t totally bought into Rumsfeld´s poison 100%, at least not yet! Rumsfeld was CEO of Searle labs who first developed aspartame. When he was informed that it was a very dangerous food additive he pushed the aspartame project ahead anyway, then later on Monsanto took it over. These boys have quite a history, no?

You´re right Tim, that stuff is pretty deadly over the long haul and causes numerous illnesses in the meantime that put megabucks into the Drug makers pockets for their "Cures" that only worsen people´s health!

I read almost everything I can before consuming food nowadays...

Looked on the label of ingredients, and yep, Acesulfame K is listed. It is also listed on the other flavors that additionally contain aspartame. Is this a derivative of aspartame, or something even worse?

Like the "xylitol" - gums over here?

Good old E 950?

Re: Aspartame Poisoning and Wrigley´s Chewing Gum
From the book SAFE FOOD by Michael F. Jacobson, Ph.D, Lisa Lefferts and Anne Garland

The public is waiting for an artificial sweetener that is unquestionably safe. But this one isn´t it. Even compared to aspartame and saccharin (which are afflicted with their own safety publems - see below), acesulfame K is the worst. The additive is inadequately tested, the FDA based its approval on tests of acesulfame K that fell short of the FDA´s own standards. But even those tests indicate that the additive causes cancer in animals, which means it may increase cancer risk in humans. In l987, CSPI urged the FDA not to approve acesulfame K, but was ignored. After the FDA gave the chemical its blessing, CSPI urged that iat be banned. The FDA hasn´t yet ruled on that request."

Maybe this is just one more part of the de-population agenda that is moving into high gear these days! Thanks for the update on acesulfame K. Probably best not to chew gum at all anymore with these additive poisons!

US scientists challenge approval of sweetener
BMJ 1996;313:386 (17 August)

High ranking scientists in the United States have written to the Food and Drug Administration in an effort to prevent the artificial sweetener acesulfame K from being approved for use in diet soft drinks and colas. The sweetener, which has the trade name Sunett, is already licensed as a "minor" sweetener for chewing gum and sweets and is currently being considered for wider approval.

More on Aspartame...Blindness!
Very important read.

HUMAN VISUAL PATHWAY DAMAGE

" The human visual pathway admits ninety percent of our intellectual input to the brain and central nervous. All of the learning processes are centered during ones life time.

The mechanism of this tragic damage to the human visual system from this product is and has been known for over a decade that visual loss takes place. When this drug enters the digestive tract, largely the upper portion, this ASPARTAME molecule spins off a by product known as METHANOL or METHYL-ALCOHOL. This product enters the blood stream and when these portions reach the highly metabolic region of the OPTIC NERVE AND RETINA, PARTIAL ATROPHY CAN AND DOES TAKE PLACE. The vision cannot do without oxygen and nutrition for more than ninety seconds without revealing some damage. Total loss of vision is present and there is no return.

In the very early stages in which is referred to as the "wet stager", treatment can be given and will reserve the destructive pathology to the OPTIC NERVE and RETINA. This must be in the mind of the physician and he must understand the chemical ongoing process. ...

"The variability or onset of the OPTIC NERVE ATROPHY is of a type that one must first think of this pathology, and it requires a certain amount of listening to the patient. The quantity of symptoms vary with each patient.

Dr. Raiford´s analysis was written in l987 and the cases of aspartame disease continue to multiply. Joyce Wilson, who went blind and died on aspartame in l990 had over 10,000 cases on her hotline.

During congressional hearings it was admitted that the FDA was so flooded with aspartame complaints they were referring them to the AIDS Hotline to get rid of them. Mission Possible Intl has operations in 50 states and over 25 countries taking these complaints. FDA not only does nothing about it but serves above the law. I wrote a Citizens Petition for ban 3 years ago. The law requires 180 days to answer but they refuse. Their only letter said they had more important priorities. So people go blind and die from a global aspartame disease plague.

The medical text is Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic, www.sunsentpress.com or 1 800 827 7991. Over 1000 pages of symptoms, diseases and drug interactions triggered by this deadly poison. Aspartame is marketed as NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, Canderel, E951, etc. It features an extensive chapter on aspartame and vision!

Aspartame also damages the hypothalamus of the brain and mitochondria and triggers male sexual dysfunction. It is being used by 70% of the population. It also ruins female response. We are spammed daily by ads for Viagra and Cialis because NutraSweet kills passion and performance.

Dr. James Bowen explains how aspartame triggers male sexual dysfunction:
[link to www.dorway.com]

The ABC article stresses that risk factors include diabetes and heart disease. Aspartame no doubt has caused an epidemic of diabetes because it can precipitate it as discussed in Dr. Roberts medical text. It also aggravates and simulates diabetic retinopathy and neuropathy. It causes diabetics to go into convulsions and interacts with insulin. And who do the manufacturers and the professional organizations like the American Diabetes Assn funded by the manufacturers push aspartame on but diabetics. And the ADA knows without a shadow of a doubt how aspartame is destroying diabetics.

We give out information at the ADA walks, sponsored in part by Equal. Aspartame also is escalating Alzheimers (Memory loss #9 on the FDA report of 92 documented symptoms) and reports say 65% of diabetics develop now Alzheimers. Defense Against Alzheimers Disease by H. J. Roberts MD, www.sunsentpress.com

Aspartame also triggers an irregular heart rhythm and interacts with all cardiac Rx. It damages the cardiac conduction system causing sudden death. Russell Blaylock, M.D., author of Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills about aspartame (www.russellblaylockmd.com) wrote an Athlete Alert on Sudden Cardiac Death.

There are several articles about this on www.wnho.net click on aspartame. Dr. Blaylock´s report: [link to www.wnho.net] This report also goes into MSG which has a synergistic and additive effect with aspartame and is another an excitotoxin.

The entire family can be destroyed by aspartame. It is an endocrine disrupting drug which stimulates prolactin. It changes the menses and triggers infertility. A Japanese Study some years ago also showed that aspartame triggers infertility in the male. It destroys the sex life of husband and wife.

If a woman gets off of aspartame and gets pregnant, it´s an abortifacient and many times she will lose the baby before she knows she is pregnant. If she carries it aspartame is a teratogen and triggers birth defects and mental retardation. If a live child is born it may have heinously damaged the DNA for generations to come. Children all over the world are suffering from ADD and ADHD and behavioral problems triggered by this deadly chemical poison.

Ask the FDA why a neurotoxic drug that liberates free methyl alcohol is on the market, since methanol is classified as a narcotic. Aspartame causes chronic methanol poisoning which affects the dopamine system of the brain and produces addiction.

Pilots are having grand mal seizures in the cockpits of commercial airliners. Five American Pilots who were using aspartame have died including one in flight drinking a diet pop. The FAA says they can´t do a thing because it was approved by the FDA. Remember the saying "your life is in the hands of the pilot"! Read this report by Dr. Blaylock and decide whether you want your pilot going blind, having a grand mal seizure, suffering brain fog or dying: [link to www.dorway.com]

The FDA knows in original studies aspartame triggered brain tumors. The molecule breaks down to diketopiperazine, a brain tumor agent. We are now taking case histories of those with aspartame brain tumors in New York, New Jersey, Madison County, Illinois and Mississippi for litigation.

24 page booklets on aspartame for distribution can be obtained from the Idaho Observer (www.idaho-observer.com) called the Artificially Sweetened Times.

Aspartame is a chemical warfare agent being intentionally fed to the American public by people (Donald Rumsfeld is directly involved in getting it on the market) who wish to weaken our mental and physical capacities. Flouridation of the water supply and chemical additives are being used to cull the population ,while at the same time capitolizing off of the illnesses caused.
The fact that Wrigleys make three aspartame -free flavors tells me this, if Henry Kissinger or David Rockefeller chew Wrigleys gum, it´s one of these three flavors.

For years, I had a pack of Equal with each of coffee in the mornings, and every morning I probably had 6 - 8 cups. I developed this ungodly pain in my ears, a constant ringing sensation that really hurt, TINITIS. Then I learned about aspartame, I looked at the package of Equal, quit cold turkey and went black with my coffee, and 1 week later, my ears were normal again. I have never touched the stuff since. Anything with aspartame will immediatly give me an earache....

868, I had a similar experience.... I believe that they covertly add it to certain food stuffs without putting it on the label. I read this about 5 years ago that someone had tested samples of Tropicana Orange Juice {of all things!} and found that it contained ASPARTAME, even tho´ there was no mention of this on the label what so ever.... DAMN THEM, will it get to the point where we will have to totally grow our own food just so we can be sure that what we are consuming isn´t booby-trapped...?? agumball

"...chewing gum sweetened only with xylitol..."

I use Xylitol! After doing a search, I found it to be safe as an alternative to sugar. It has the benefit of cutting down on, if not eliminating cavities. Bacteria sticks to it and is flushed out of the body before it can do harm. It seems to me that it would be good to use in case of the flu, colds, sore throat, or earache, etc. The toothpaste is good, too.

There is one drawback in that if too much is ingested it may cause diarrhea. That´s the extent of the damage. Cut back! Might be a lot better than taking a laxitive when constipated.

Re: Aspartame Poisoning and Wrigley´s Chewing Gum
You know I discovered this sort of thing a few years ago. My grandfather was a chemist and lived to the ripe old age of 87.

He told me he couldn´t understand why they ever stopped using sacharrin, as it wasn´t bad for you, and they had been using it for a long, long time. I want to say he said 100 years.

I used to love Tab soda, which gets most of its flavor from sacharrin. When some of the neorotoxin information started coming out on aspartame, I switched to drinking Tab.

I had started to have problems like motor control skills, headaches, etc., which went away when I made the switch away from Aspartame.

Then, by chance, one day I looked at the back of the Tab soda bottle, and they had started adding Aspartame in addition to the saccharin!

I was dumbfounded, other than to say it sure seems like we´re being poisoned.

well, what if perhaps the cost of one type of sweetener became sufficiently less than the previous best seller..

lets say someone did a little price fixing..

then most companies would have no choice but switch in order to survive in that market..

Hello Tim

My savy daughter worked at a grocery and found this a year ago and not just that but many many things like the juices they serve at school lunches. Things they dont need to change they add the proven neurotoxins to and to developing brains. We live in a area where they give out surplus foods to the low income people and we see what they get. Its like death in a wrapper. Every artifical thing that did not sell in stores they give to the low income and load them up not just on empty calories but all this poision. From now on I will always read every label because its hidden in many things now. When they change the name we will have to have a dictionary to find the new listing. If a product gives you chronic severe diahrea its time to stop using it.......thats nature saying reject reject..trying to get it out of your system.
thank you Tim and light to your many searches.......

Thank you Tree Hugger, Kevin, Octo, Blue Dolphin, Interdimensional Warrior and everyone else for all your validation. I have had several friends that once stopping ingestion of diet coke, sugarless gum, etc., felt many of the afore listed symptoms disappear. This is indeed a war, folks. The depopulation agenda is coming out into the light big time now, but unfortunately TPTB are on the fast track to getting the NWO up and running. They know they have a tiger by the tail and are speeding up their agenda. TPTB really don´t give a shit anymore, it is very much in our face now; this is obvious with the way Katrina was handled. All we can do is try to second guess it, stay healthy, spend quality time with those we love and "be in it but not of it". Peace to all of you good people.
