Over dinner my sister and her bf met my wife and I at Applebees and we were all chatting until my sis made a funny statement.

She said the crazies have come to Columbus. She is an emergency room doctor. She said that the other day when they brought in the truck driver who was involved in a head-on crash on the freeway, they had to tie the guy down. He kept screaming and demanding water. They told him to calm down and as soon as he was checked (head trauma and other very minor surface injuries) then they would give him water.

He was all jumpy and then they brought him a dixie-cup of water (something small) and he smelled it and turned to her and said, "No. I want PURE water!".

The nurse told him it was pure and he basically got in a small fight with her. He refused to drink the water.

THIS IS WHY SHE TOLD THE STORY. Just last night ANOTHER weird person ALSO demanded "pure" water.

She was asking us if we knew what the heck people were asking for...?!?!?

I about tripped at the table and told everyone about Godlike and on and on and we were all sort-of creeped out!
