Because many will turn to or finally accept God after the rapture. Many who were sidelined and never accepted Jesus will see that the teachings were right. The Jewish people will realize the truth and thus turn to Jesus as well with the knowledge of the abomination and the teachings of the 144k as well

For a post tribulation rapture it would not be as a thief in the night. We would know to the day 7 years ahead when the rapture would be.

UUMMMM.....about that Rapture thing....I don't think there will be a Pre-Tribulation Rapture because if there was, and all the believers are in Heaven prior to the Tribulation, then why would he leave instructions in Revelations on how to escape and survive the horrors that are described there? Who would he leave these instructions for if all believers were raptured? Read the first chapter of REVELATION-Blessings to he who hears and ENDURES......

ALL verses about "the thief in the night" are pertaining to the Second Coming and NOT a pre-trib rapture. He WILL come as a thief in the night to the unbelievers who are not looking for His coming. Christians will be looking for the events to take place that were told by Christ in the Olivet Discourse. When they see those signs then they will left up their heads as redemption draws near. Sudden distruction WILL come on those unbelievers that did NOT watch. Read the passages yourself and you'll see that the thief in the night is talking about the Second Coming event.
