Quoting: KoFFee_Well, my local Christian radio station--which I don't listen to that often-- just had an interesting discussion about survival preparedness as a result of talking to a guest about the upcoming debt ceiling vote and a possible collapse of our financial system. Why am I commenting on this? The Christian talk show host is not one to give in easy to conspiracies or hype. He didn't even do anything during the so-called Y2K crisis because he believed nothing would happen. Well, he took calls from his listeners today regarding stocking up , as Christians, on food, dried goods, whatever is needed for emergency preparedness. He, himself, thinks it might be a good idea. And because he thinks it is a good idea, that is additional confirmation to me that something is going to happen. One of the callers was paranoid, saying he thinks it is too late. Come Tuesday, according to him, we are all in deep trouble and he is so upset with himself for not preparing sooner. Another caller was from Canada, and was concerned about trouble crossing the borders--Mexico included. Another caller said churches should be more prepared to help the Christians in times of disaster. Another caller said he doesn't understand Christians preparing when in Matthew 6, Jesus said not to worry about our provisions. NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS--JESUS IS ON THE THRONE--HE IS IN CONTROL AMEN!!! I can certainly understand why that one caller was paranoid. We have been lied to so much, that you don't know what to believe anymore. We really should just trust in God. Praying always for wisdom, and discernment.  Yet another great song! My parents show little interest when I bring it up (but maybe they just don't want to talk about it.) I asked my sister, "do you think this (the tribulation) is going to go down soon?" She said, "I don't know and I don't care." She said God will do what He is going to do, and there's no point in worrying about it. Well, I don't believe in a pre tribulation rapture, in fact I believe it occurs at the Second Coming of Christ. I also believe the koran is the word of God, and i believe the baghavad gita (India) is the word of God. They teach the same thing, but certain sects choose to pervert the sacred teachings to fit their own selfish ends. I believe this is one of the great tests for us from the almighty, to actually see and realize this. Anyway, keep your eyes peeled! Seriously keep watch now because there ain't long left!! See how everything is collapsing socially and economically? No matter what the governments try to avert it, it won't work. The current way of our civilization is not compatible with Gods agenda. I feel a little under the weather, truthfully, but that's o.k., my faith is still strong in the Lord. It's just my shell, it's getting old. I'm hoping they will make a deal, too, and nothing much will happen. I just don't know. I was just reading that if they raise the debt ceiling it will bring a bigger disaster later. I heard that the tax revenues each month average about 185 billion dollars. After funding prioritized items, about 35 billion is left. So there is some money, they just have to stop spending it in the wrong places. Like all of us, the government needs to learn how to budget. But, then again, could this all have been intentional? However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. I don't want to start thinking too ahead of myself right now. Pray and Prepare. Thanks for the prayer. I haven't been to a doctor in 18 years. I rely on my faith, good food, vitamins, and exercise[not as much anymore, tho]. God takes care of me, even though I mess up so much. I love Him.  Sleep--yes, I need more. I push myself to the limit by trying to squeeze to much in one day, at the expense of giving up on sleep. It catches up with me sooner or later.
