Good afternoon everyone, and may our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit!


Something that has been on my mind of late is people arguing over what name to call our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Some people claim that pronouncing his name right (which they claim to be a certain Hebrew name such as either Yeshua, Yahshua, Yahoshuah, Yahushua) is very important. I'm not really sure what to think.

When Jesus Christ came to me last year, thanks to the amazing grace of God our Father, this is the name I knew Him as. I am looking for opinions regarding this name matter.

We live in a darkened world that brings much sorrow and grief of which God never intended. Jesus referred to the Holy Spirit who is a third person of the Trinity and not "the" third person of the Godhead, as the Spirit of Truth. And this is the major element of His comfort to the soul of man living on this planet. Lies are a yoke upon a heart which further enslaves other souls. The revelations of God the Holy Spirit pushes out the chaos and darkness in our souls. You may recall Genesis 1: 2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters... The Spirit of the Living God is upon the darkness to remove its lies and the oppression it brings to all of His creation. How much light a heart wants the chaos and darkness to be removed is incumbent to each individual. As a result the individual offers themselves to the service of the Holy Spirit as vessels to free other souls from the darkness that enslaves each individual. A wise lamp, a city on a hill. The Anointing breaks the yoke. The Anointing is the Holy Spirit and He shall free your soul as you allow Him to teach you and allow Him to shine His light through you. Listen to Him and not to your preconceived notions or the notions of others. Allow God to correct your conditioned truth that where sown into your soul. Your soul is your library that is where all the truth is contained. Dont allow the sown lies cover up the Light that is in you. We say we follow God but the truth is we assume we do when in fact we are dependent on others to give us the truth or what we assume is the truth. Love without truth is a lie and nothing but. The Anchor of your soul is Jesus and not some professing advocate of the Truth. Put your full trust in Jesus and not on His servants. If they are His servants they will behave as such and not just profess that they are His great servants-oxymoron isnt it? ...The crux of the matter is this; get to know God on a personal level and dont allow others to get you to know God. They cant possibly do this no matter how much skill talent and dedication. YOU have to get to know God and it starts with acknowledging what Jesus Christ did for you. The rest is in God's hands and the allowance you Give the Holy Spirit to shine through your soul. Your spirit has the Light but how much you allow your soul to shine is incumbent on how much you want the darkness out of your soul. Lamp; three in one; 1glass the 2inner container of 3the Light that shines through your spirit and makes it appear as one.

This pace saddens me, I was attacked by 2 people for making a thread promoting that Jesus Christ loves everyone. The first reply has someone judging all Christians to be the most hateful person in the world. I then posted that Jesus Christ taught us to love everyone and not to judge others (implying that a follower of Christ, a Christian, would not do these things). That person then judged me for being hateful. Then someone else came in the thread and accused me of working for satan because I did not use the name Yahushua.

I repent if I did anything wrong, I was really only trying to promote how God loves us so much.

The eyes are the windows to your soul. What are your eyes looking at? Is it man preaching Christ? Or is it Christ? Or is it just a presentation of Christ? Your eyes should always be on Christ and not on a presenter/s of Christ. Only God can feed your soul and not another man. If it is man then your soul is lean. I am the Vine you are the branches. With out me you can do nothing....the scripture says.John 15:5

I know, I've been noticing that to. The Lords name is translated in many different languages. I think that argument is rather ridiculous myself.

More proof we are in the last days. I've been attacked here recently by more so-called Christians than unbelievers. Whats up with that? Its gotten to the point where I am reluctant to start new threads.

When I repented for offending, and forgave the person who judged me for being hateful when I pointed out that Jesus Christ taught us to love everyone and not judge others, said person then accused me of being selfish and not understanding the teachings of Jesus Christ. Sometimes I feel really sad when I make someone so bitter. I really didn't intend to.

You're love and humility is how Christ taught us to be towards others.

I'm glad your feeling better. Myself, I'm hanging in there, but feeling like not posting to much on GLP. I just feel like my heart is not in it, right now. My little 13 year old rat-terrier is dying and its a little hard right now to face each day. Each day, I think we're going to have to put her down, and then she gets a little better. Then the next day she's bad again and the whole cycle starts all over again. We're constantly at the vets, and constantly getting our hopes up, but then they get dashed again. It's a never-ending emotional roller-coaster that I wish I could get off. If you get time, say a little prayer for me.

I've got time now... I love animals too. I have a couple of dogs myself.

Father, I pray for MercyMe's little dog. Lord, you are the creator of all things, and there is nothing impossible for you. I pray Lord for the healing of this little fella, we know that all you have to do is speak the word, and it will be done. Please grant this request Lord, if it be your will.
