I started this thread Thread: OK all you numbers folk....whats with the sudden upsurge of 111 last week?
and in it was one of my replies as I will post below.

Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Well..that SORT of explains something.

I went to church once (five years ago when the numbers began)on the insitance of a friend.

It was only a little church..no particular denomination.

The pastor there was about 50 or so. He was happy and loving and very caring.

He was not the usual hypocritical greedy wife stealing adulterating prick that most christian pastors are so I was sort of surprised by him.

In every other church I had ever been to in my life they had all been greedy self rightous assholes.

But not this bloke.

There was something different about him..an otherworldness about him. Almost like he didnt fit in on earth.

After the service which was about loving others especially when they least deserved it (I found this strange because every other sermon I had ever heard always centered around self or money or feelings and other crap)He came up and introduced himself to me.

He looked at me in a strange way..sort of like he had just ran into something unusual...gave me an "Otherworldly" sort of look..like he was looking INTO me.

Then he asked if he could pray for me..I said yes..why not?...

So he prayed a weird prayer...he said "You are sealed..KNOW that you are sealed..and nothing will ever change that...not even you."

He prayed some other things..but he repeated that twice.,.the sealed bit.

Not long after I began seeing the numbers..all over the place in the weirdest places.

But last week it went off the charts.

Not a day went past that I didnt see the 111 at LEAST 15 to 20 times..interspersed with lots of 444 and 888...

Ive looked and searched on the net about these numbers but all I can find is ramblings about angels..portals..new age bullshit fairy land sort of crap.

Im too down to earth for airy fairy shit..but one thing I DO know...I do have a "CORE"..a part of me that is NOT of this world..that just does NOT fit in here. Its always been like this for me. Ive always felt detached from this planet..like Im just wandering through it on the way to somewhere else.

I stop..look..learn..and move on..its all ive ever done.

I just CANT SETTLE with this world..never in one place for long..always moving..moving..never a home...always a temporary spot..then on to the next place.

Now I have to move again..for the third time this year..

But the numbers..awlays there..always increasing..and I feel..accepted..whenever I see them..like im being looked after.

When that pastor prayed for me five years ago I felt something hit me between the eyes..like a bolt of painless but very bright lightning.

It penetrated deep into me through my forehead..right down to my toes. He said I was sealed...twice..but did not explain it further.

I asked him what it meant but he said he could not clearly remember saying it..as ive learnt though..when someone is giving a real deep word from God they are not the ones saying the words but God..so it bypasses their own natural memory of saying it..because its not THEM actually saying it.

About a year later I met this nice christian lady..old and wise and full of love. I was doing some gardening for her and whatnot and she made me a nice devonshire tea and invitied me up for lunch.

I sat with her and we talked...about halfway through the conversation she stopped..looked at me with the same sort of otherworldy look..and asked if she could pray for me.

I thought "Why not..if God has something to say...now is a good a time as any for him to say it" (I was going through a deep pain in my life at that point and needed all the encouragement I could get)

She placed her hand on my forhead..and said three words..that shook me to my core..again..she said "YOU ARE SEALED"..and then prayed for my situation and such.

I asked her what sealed meant..she said she could not remember saying it....

Twice since then this has happenned..always when im depressed or down and need encouragement...someone..somehow..always comes along and prays that prayer for me.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket, but this just doesn't sit right with me. This doesn't sound/look/feel like the God I know.

Do you think satan can see the future like God can?...I know satan can make really good guesses..but CAN he..in your opinion..actually SEE the future..and know what you will do next..when you will do it..and also..do you think he knows exactly what you are going to think before you think it?

I think Satan is extremely intelligent and crafty, and his thousands of years of experience give him an advantage in making educated guesses. But certainly not all-knowing as God is. Satan knows the scriptures and the prophecies, but I don't think he has any additional knowledge unless God gave it to him.

He also has many fallen angels and demons in his service, so his ability to "watch" is extensive. He can anticipate based upon your past habits or what plans you make known. But again, not being God, he can't know what you'll do if you haven't said, or what you're thinking unless you tell. I am careful not to give him too much info, though.

If the numbers I am seeing all the time..especially the 111 of late are from satan..then satan MUST be able to know where I will be..when I will be there..and why I went..and also exactly what I am thinking before I think it.

But we know he CANT see the future..he CANT read minds..and he does not KNOW you will be going to a certain place at a certain time for a certain reason..especially when YOU dont know yourself until the moment the idea hits you to go there...and satan cant see from one moment to the next where you will be or when you will be there..

So the numbers MUST be from God because only God can see the future..only GOD knows exactly what you are thinking..even before you think it..and only GOD could arrange those numbers accordinly for you to see at certain times..at certain places..only HE could have known you were gong to be at certain times.

Very possible. Yet at the same time, there's absolutely nothing in scripture to tell us to look for such numbers. They may be what I call "markers" or signposts that simply remind you that God is watching. For an unsaved person this may be a gentle tapping on the shoulder to get their attention (some people require a two-by-four!). For a saved person it's probably an affirmation or indication that you're where you're supposed to be.

When I see the numbers..especially the 111 I always have a feeling of being looked after..and that I am exactly where I need to be at that exact moment.

Like you said..a sign post..or a waypoint reached..or something like that.

I feel very safe..protected..guided..like a child holding a fathers hand..so safe and secure...no matter whats going on around.

But would it be alright if I ask you specifically about how/whether you professed your faith? I look for very specific things; I'm just nitpicky like that. :-)

I was born with it really..always knew from my earlist memory that God was real..this world was fake..and I really wanted nothing to do with its crap.

I never fit in at school..never was into all the useless crap other boys were into..stayed a virgin till I got married..NOT because a law told me too..but..it just seemed to me to be the right thing to do.

I have always known the eternal..ever since I was a toddler.

I remember when I was three years old telling the dark monsters of ever young boys imagination to get the heck outta my room because if they didnt leave me alone my eternal dad would deal with em. It worked too.

As I grew up..already with open eyes..I saw this world in all its darkness..all its misery..and I knew why...the world is covered in darkness...and I hate darkness..which is why as a teen..I just could not give into the peeer pressure to be and do as the others..it just was not ME.

I did try a few times to be a "Normal" human..but that was like putting diesel fuel into a petrol motor..it just would not work. I felt isolated from the rest..and I was happy to be.

I am aware that darkness dwells in all of us..its something we have no say in because we are all born in darkness. But deep down since I was young there was a part of me that just could not be corrupted...coerced..or damaged. It stays the same..eternal and unsleeping..always there..always love..deep down..the real me is NOT of this world.

I have always believed in God, too. But there comes a point in time when you are "aware" or old enough to be held responsible for either accepting Jesus or rejecting Him.

Specifically, we are to believe that Jesus is God in the flesh who lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again in the flesh; he is the Messiah, the only Savior, the Way, Truth, and Life. He himself said that there is no other way to be saved, meaning to be adopted into God's "family" and a citizen of his kingdom. This is the rebirth Jesus explained to Nicodemas, who of course believed in God from his youth. The fact that he was told he still needed to be reborn shows that we need to do more than simply believe in God.

Many will tell you that this is unenlightened or small-minded, but this is what Jesus said and the whole New Testament teaches. Our faith is thus anchored in a fact of history, the Resurrection, to which the original disciples were witnesses. A faith that is so anchored cannot be shaken, because it isn't based upon our subjective feelings or experiences. All God asks is our trust in what Jesus did for us.

That moment came when I was 15.

It was after that moment I began to learn the reason behind the darkness. Until that moment I just naturally hated the darkness..but after that moment I knew WHY I hated the darkness.

Oh yes..Ive met dad.

But what about the Son?

Thats who I met..Hes my dad.

Him and his dad are the same.

It did not happen in a church either.

I was alone in my room...asked a question..and got an answer that blew me away.

Its not every day you come face to face with eternity in the flesh.
