The ribbon has now streamed way deep into our solar system. Streams of hot plasma has already reached Jupiter and that is the cause for the recent explosions in Jupiter. Those incoming plasmatic energies will reach our inner solar system this December, along with massive X-ray filaments and ripples of waves from the Galactic Center to strike our Sun this December 21 and turning it into a Red Giant.
