No more mincing words with you. You are going to burn in the lake of fire. Your arrogance is putting you there. Out of pride you refuse to answer, even unto yourself, the simplest of questions. Is Jesus in heaven? Yes or no?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1486125

You've deemed someone worthy of a pool of literal fire just because of their beliefs? Or 'cuz they won't answer your question? Lighten up.

Anyone who does end up in the "lake of fire" will be fine. Jesus is there with them. And it's not real fire. God said several times in the old testament that burning people is vile. He uses metaphorical fire to refine us, not destroy us.
Here are some of the things which scripture defines as "fire":

"Our God is a consuming fire" - Hebrews 12 (an echo of Deuteronomy 4:24)

"Is not My word like fire?" - Jeremiah 23

He makes "His ministers a flame of fire" - Hebrews 1 (also Psalm 104)

fiery trials = sharing in the sufferings of Christ - 1 Peter 4

Israel's captivity in Egypt = "an iron furnace" - Deuteronomy 4:20

Note that per Revelation 14, those cast into this "lake" are "in the presence of the Lamb". He Himself is likely the fire that purifies.

The only thing that it burns up is the old, corrupt nature and its debris. . .

Fire will expose and test each person's works. . ."if it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames" - 1 Corinthians 3

"By mercy and truth iniquity is purged". . .Proverbs 16

"The wicked will see it and be vexed, He will gnash his teeth and melt away; The desire of the wicked will perish" - Psalm 112

"For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the LORD our God anymore, then we shall die" - Deuteronomy 5

The process of "fire" leaves us in ashes. . .a scriptural symbol of humility.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1485887

Please stay out of our trading of posts....yours is a fallacy for another thread...perhaps you should go back and read Matthew 25:41 and Revelations 20:10!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1486392

Yeah, neither the "everlasting" nor the "for ever and ever" in these verses means an endless stretch of non-time. In Mattew 25, "everlasting" is actually the Greek word aionios and "for ever and ever" of Revelation 20 is aion aion, which either means "age of the age" or "ages and ages". Why translators didn't bother conveying any of this accurately is a serious issue.

And casting the devil into the same fire doesn't require it to be *literal* fire. The Lake of Fire consists of symbolic fire. Deuteronomy 12 says that burning people is an abomination. Jeremiah mentions in three different chapters that the idea of burning people is so horrible that it never entered God's mind.

Also, if AC homeboy is going to guarantee someone that they'll end up in the lake of fire, I'm gonna hijack the thread long enough to clarify what that actually is.

Re: Protestants error again, proclaiming our justification comes by belief (faith) alone....
"I love you, My brother Melvin and all My brothers and sisters living in the world. Open your hearts to Me and I will give you all the graces you need to follow Me. I will strengthen your faith to believe in Me with all your heart and to oppose all the temptations of the evil one.

The Apostles were terrified when they saw Me walking on the water. They had never seen a person doing such a thing. I wanted to show them that I had great power, which only God has. Indeed this miracle touched the Apostles deeply and they made an act of faith in Me, saying, 'Truly, you are the Son of God.' Yes, I am the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity who became man to save you all. However, in order for you to be saved, you need to cooperate with Me. Besides your faith in Me, you need to follow the commandments and if you sin, to repent of your sins. In your love for Me, you will follow all that I have taught you especially to belong to My Church, to pray regularly and to go to church every Sunday. You will love your brothers and sisters and forgive those who have offended you in any way. Live in close union with Me and you will grow in holiness daily. I am your friend who is always ready to help you if you come to Me. I bless you all."
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1465764

"Faith Alone", Sola Fide is not true.

Ask Our Lord in prayer for the grace to believe His presence in the Holy Eucharist.

If you accept the Real Presence, all your misunderstandings about the faith will fall away. Don't wait until realizing in your Great Warning experience.

It is beyond me, there will be souls who will still say
no. verysad

The only place in Scripture where Jesus explains how
He abides in us and we abide in Him is when you receive
the Holy Eucharist.

John 6:57
He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1465764

That's not the only place - consider John 14:23. . .

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him"
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1485887

I don't see the word abide. John 14:23?

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1465764

Hopefully, you know what an "abode" is for, yes? No?

Okay, you got me. This is how God abides in us,
incomplete, John 14:23 doesn't say how we abide in Him
as John 6:57 states.

You reject John 6:57 which shows you don't keep John 14:23!

Not a word about the Eucharist, staying in your disbelief.
How does that help you?

John 14:23 does not say what John 6:57 states. And now
you're angry.

John 14:23 doesn not say how we abide in Christ. That's
what I first stated, both, how He abides in us and we in Him.

Good, I thought you rejected the Eucharist.

Jesus just spoke to me in a dream. He said I needed to come on GLP and tell everyone about some doom in their future. He was very specific about things burning and debris falling out of the sky. He wanted me to get naked and run through the streets shouting GLP is the reason for life, all hail GLP. That was when the dmt wore off and I realized I had my pants down.

Newsflash for religi-tards; people use you because they know how your feeble little mind works. Stop nitpicking every other religion and for once just sort out your own life! If you are right there is no need to threaten others or convince them of your superiority. If you are wrong you are going to look pretty stupid.

The "tard" term is getting old.

Whose nitpicking? There is one faith, one Truth. If you reject it how are you going to make it through what is coming? No one is superior, we are all sinners. People
get so upset if you share a message from Our Lord to try
to bring you to belief. He says it again, I didn't.

Read the message from Heaven in the OP.

Luther's "Faith Alone" is a lie so you can't remain Protestant.

Are you claiming that "make our abode with" is somehow different than "abide in"? Secondly, can I get you to directly quote John 6:57? Most bibles dosn't even use the word "abide" - it appears that's unique to your Douay-Rheims version. Young's Literal Translation has it as "According as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating me, even that one shall live because of me"

(Plus, the accusations, of course). Normal people don't want any part of this kind of noise, and I can't blame them. How can the non-religulous be expected to have any patience for church-bots who are unable to relate to them? That's simple logic. You're going on about our perceptions regarding what is or isn't inside of a fancy cup to be imbibed from in a weekly ceremony. Regular people typically have more practical things to worry about.

Nothing new, people have been getting upset over Our Lord's
teachings for 2000 years and well they should if they
don't follow Him. Our choosing to believe all He has revealed brings eternal life, it is the most important thing to speak of Ac.

You don't understand yet, what you think isn't important,
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and receiving the Holy Eucharist...is the greatest means to receiving God's grace.

Acknowledge Luther's lie, "faith alone" came from his head,
not from God. Don't spend one more moment of your life
following heretics.

The verse you shared is incomplete, John 6:57 reveals
how we abide in Him and He in us. The "abode" verse John 14:23 you posted states only how God abides in us.

For you to use profanity in speaking about the Eucharist, how vile, you have no understanding.

Remember when you experience the Great Warning, the Eucharist is truly Jesus, He comes to us in the Eucharist. You are a baby. Most Christians understand a bit, the difference between the Catholic Eucharist and Protestant Communion but Protestants stay in their disbelief, accepting
bread and wine, juice and crackers. God is going to reveal
to all this is wrong...very soon.

Reason, it's best to keep talking about the Holy Eucharist.

Nope, Protestants have two things wrong.

Preaching for money. It's a conflict of interest. One of the few times Christ got physically angry was when people were trying to make a profit in a house of worship.

Second. Justification comes by following law. Law permits our salvation.

Ask Jesus into your heart all you want, fail to abandon drug use, fornication, adultery, murder, etc. and you cannot be saved no matter how much faith or belief you have.

Obedience to divine law to the best of your knowledge saves us , not faith, grace covers your past ignorance of the law, not a lack of desire to fulfill and abide your current knowledge and awareness of sin.

Grace is not a license to commit sin. Grace covers your ignorance and past mistakes. Not mistakes you choose to make with a full awareness of what sin (violations of the law) is.

Those mistakes you make with a full awareness you pay for yourself. ie. The leg I got broken by hanging out with people I shouldn't have been. The marijuana users at the marina last summer.
 Quoting: Tyranny of Evil Men

I've never been preached to by a Protestant that required money for salvation. Jesus died on the cross because we were not able to cease and desist from our sins. I agree grace does not cover your future sins, but we are born into sin, and because of this God provides. There would be no need for Christ if we could simply stop what we were doing.

I hate to jump in on a thread so early, that is so long, but I think you must be thinking of other Protestants, like those in the past that carried swords and battle weapons, and were simply blood thirsty and not true to the heart of the Lord.

...

I AM HORRIFIED BY YOUR LOGIC. You really think that since Jesus Christ died on the cross that you can actually spout off this feel good religion and call it "The Way"??
Give me a break with your "do as thou wilt" way to Heaven cause "Jesus HAS ALREADY paid for my sins"..... and in advance since we were not born yet. The only ones this could possibly appeal to is the self-righteous and people who want their cake and eat it too.
Jesus came to show us the way by carrying our own cross the way he did in this world. Not by having others carry it for you. It does not work that way. No sir.
Ever herd of the narrow road? Well, it's the way to heaven.

Jesus Christ came to set the captives free. He gave us an example to follow, then sent the Holy Spirit to teach us.
His birth came to announce the time was at hand, the new age was upon us. He came to tell us to repent. Time was at hand. Ever think of what that statement means??
It means time is soon ending. Get our heart right through His ways, which was repentance, baptism for the remission of sin.
Why would you have baptisms if Jesus Christ already paid for sins, it does not make sense. Baptism is for the REMISSION OF SINS. And if you sin, you repent of the sins, ask for forgiveness and are forgiven because you are a member of the BODY OF CHRIST through your baptism.

He showed us how we become a "member" of the "Body of Christ", which is by consuming the BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST. AND HE DID NOT MINCE WORDS WHEN HE SAID THAT THOSE WHO ATE OF HIS BODY AND DRANK OF HIS BLOOD, WOULD HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. AS WE WOULD BE IN HIM, AND HE IN US. THIS IS THE UNITY OF CHRISTIANS IN THE BODY OF CHRIST.
We are to be the new wine in the new wine skin, CHRIST'S SKIN, SO TO SPEAK, FOR WE TAKE ON HIS NATURE WHEN WE UNITE WITH HIM IN THE SACRAMENT OF THE EUCHARIST. A people who has had two thousand years to raise up a Holy People by practicing what Jesus Christ started and His apostles carried out.
See, a new age was/is clicking in place. The time of times is almost up.
The time of our trials are almost over. Those who have upheld God's laws, which are spiritual in nature, NOT LEGAL IN THE WORLDS EYES, will gain acceptance into the kingdom of God.
And those who are adamant about putting limits upon WHO GOD MAY OR MAY NOT TALK THROUGH OR TO, NEED TO THINK HARD ABOUT WHAT YOU ARE DOING.
Anything is possible with God, and HE is our maker. He knows us and has communicated with His creation since the beginning.
This is the age of men with stiff necks, haughty and heartless.
God can do as He pleases, He is THE CREATOR OF ALL, PERIOD.
WE SINNERS ARE NOTHING, HE CHOSE US, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Soon we are going to be in a decision making situation. Remember that the devil prowls around confusing,DIVIDING, misguiding, devouring those who are not protected with the BREASTPLATE OF TRUTH, AND THE SWORD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Ask yourselves "who" started this division of the "faith" given to you by Christ HIMSELF...
Ask yourselves "why" anyone would throw the baby out with the bath water concerning the mistakes that were purposefully done to confuse you and mislead you away from your true Faith,

The truth is that satan has been allowed to cause division in God's Only Son, Jesus Christ's church on Earth.
This was allowed to separate those who had the love of the truth, from those who did/do not. (the wheat and the chaff).

Mistakes have been made, but, not without God's own reasons.
Open your hearts, There is more to learn everyday!! Christ lives in our hearts and talks to us everyday.
Stay away from legalism.

Find out the universal way of eternal life. cause and effect, this is God's way of letting us learn from our mistakes, make the choice to learn or suffer from not learning our lesson. simple as that.

And if you are wondering why some very innocent people suffer for things in their life, remember that the "sins of the father" can last(visit upon) until the fourth generation. Sin is the cause of all sickness, perversion, hatred, all negativity.

The only place in Scripture where Jesus explains how
He abides in us and we abide in Him is when you receive

If Jesus is in heaven, the law has been fulfilled...no need to continue trying to fulfill the law!

Further, if Jesus is in heaven, with His resurrected flesh (new) body...what is in your eucharist...it sure isn't resurrected flesh. If you think you are eating resurrected flesh...you REALLY need to go study your Bible!

Some of the "opponents" of my position claim I am "preaching" some kind of immoral behavior. To those who claim this, please cut and paste where I said for the Christian (who no longer needs to try to follow the law) for them to go and murder/steal/fornicate...etc.) Please quote where I wrote that or similar.

To the "new" resident Greek scholar on the thread..."ages and ages" is best translated as "eternity." JWs teach you that one? They don't believe in eternal punishment...they believe in some sort of strange "death." Gee, come to think of it Jesus described a place where the fire never goes out and the worms never die...If something is burnt up...there is no need for the fire...if something is fully eaten by worms...the worms would eventually starve to death...please ponder!

Hi Enoch,

Thank you for asking, I am okay. Do you think sharing
Martin Luther's quotes would help?

Why is it so difficult for some to connect, the Bible
came from the Church, the RCC so this should tell you
she is the Church Our Lord established.

Please go learn what the canon of the Ethiopian church is. You will see different books that the "canon" of the RCC...which was last amended in 1546 (Council of Trent), you know...after the reformation...because the RCC did not have a leg to stand on with its "prayers for the dead" and indulgences. The Ethiopian canon contains the book of Enoch...the one quoted in Jude...seems fairly cool to me!

Ac 14869.., rose

Thank you very much for explaining. The Eucharist is a mystery, something God wants all of us to accept without fully understanding.

After the priest's words of consecration, the bread and
wine become Our Lord. We are not receiving literal blood
and flesh, still because God says it is so, we receive
the risen Christ, completely. His body, blood soul and
divinity.

Jesus truly becomes the Passover Lamb, we consume Him
but you have to accept this in a supernatural way. It's
not the Catholic plan but God's plan, His desire to
sanctify us in this way. He in us.

The words in John 6:64 below...in the Douay Rheims Bible.
[link to www.drbo.org]

When Our Lord uses the term "spirit" He is talking about
somethinh SUPERNATURAL, not by our human understanding.
God can do anything. You see this in other verses too where He uses the same word, "spirit." "Spirit" in no way means "symbol."

John 6:64
It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I have spoken to you, are spirit and life.

Pope Damasus assembled the first list of books of the Bible at the Roman Council in 382 A.D. He commissioned St. Jerome to translate the original Greek and Hebrew texts into Latin, the common language of the time.

Enoch, the Canon has never changed. Pope Damasus was led
by God. He wasn't shown the Book of Enoch to be divinely
inspired.

We will never agree but I share, history shows it. God
didn't get it wrong at the beginning, in the middle or
now. Judas was a sinner...and on and on till today, this
is our nature partly. Doesn't change the fact the RCC is
the true Church.

See why God's merciful gift of the Great Warning has to and will happen. I can say the previous 10,000 times but pride and upbringing, etc stops a person from accepting this fact.

God the Holy Spirit touches some hearts so the exception.

Many, many Protestant ministers recognized finally about
"authority" by whose authority did they preach what they
did? And reading the quotes of the Church Fathers. They
couldn't remain Protestant. They converted to the faith.

Jesus' prayer to God the Father that we all believe the
same. It's going to happen. applause

So there's no goodness in Catholicism? That's your opinion
from years of reading anti-Catholic writings.

Just like I shared, it doesn't matter, my brothers and sisters in Christ are stuck, as someone wrote, it's your "filter."

Jesus is returning soon, not in the way some profess. We are near to the end of the 6th Day. Most all Christians
believe He is coming.

No one answers this, which ecclesatical community in
Protestantism out of th 30 plus is Jesus going to reveal
to the world, to be His Church?

Is He going to reveal, the "altar call" is the only thing
required, what ever you wish to belive is fine after accepting Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior?

I am not trying to be unkind...

Which non-Catholic group, Church, community is it?
