Revolution for large dogs might cure it.

I'd use it for three months though I have no idea if it could harm you or not.

Have tried hydrogene peroxide 3 % topically? It kills all bacteria, it might kill parasites as well.

Actually, it sounds like you have impetago. If you do, stop scratching that shit with your dirty finger nails. For impetago use peroxide and do not scratch, no matter what. Put the peroxide on as often as possible until it dries out. No touching, scratching etc. It will dissapear in a few days.

If it really is a paraite or such, use neem oil.

MINERAL WELLS – Government authorities and local health departments continue to receive reports of a mysterious skin condition called “Morgellons.”

OP, Go back to the Hydrogen Peroxide.

Buy a bottle of 35% food grade peroxide. You can now control the strenght of the final solution by adding varying amounts of distilled water.

Start off at 11 parts water to 1 part peroxide & dab this onto the affected area.
If insufficient response, go down to 9 parts water & try again.
Etc
Etc

Be careful though. As the solution gets stronger it can actually burn your skin (& whatever is living in there).
