It really sounds like mites (sarcoptic mange).

Revolution for large dogs might cure it.

I'd use it for three months though I have no idea if it could harm you or not.

Revolution for cats cured my cat of it.

On the other hand their is a product called MMS that kills all bugs in the body. It's tough to stomach literally and I've used it but it also kills all good bugs too.

If I was as miserable as you, I do them both after a little research to make sure it won't kill you too.
