Another way to get the medicine to penetrate the skin is to mix it with DMSO. I have also use a 50/50 mixture of colloidal silver and DMSO to treat deep fungal infections with some success. Not as powerful or as sure fire as the salicyclic acid though.

I was wondering if the acid might cause the bug to burrow deeper, but if there is any kind of hole to the surface or if the thing needs air to live, the fumes from the salicyclic acid will surely penetrate and get to the little bugger in short order. The salicyclic acid should only be used in a small localized area. Don't spread it all over your head. You can try it without shaving the spot, but you probably won't get a good thorough covering and the acid will eat any hair that it touches anyway, so you might just as well shave the small area and you can comb your hair over it after the acid drys.

Op, I don't know why you are only restricting yourself to 'topical' cures. If you have an infestation below the skin they are also getting your blood and tissue - which is internal.

As you say, you cannot afford to buy these herbs, you may have to go the 'whole plant' root. Weeds, grasses, greens etc. that grow all around you are bitter. Dandelion, for example, is an edible medicinal weed. You may have to pick these and chew for their bitter juice (not necessarily swallow the pulp.) Have a look at what is growing in your backyard or local area. Research the weeds on what is edible, what medicinal qualities they have. If they are too horrible tasting for you, start with small quantities and increase as you acclimatise to the taste.

Also, seeing as the problem you have is bothering you so much, if you are male, I would probably shave my head. That way you can also apply poultices of bitter weeds/greens/grasses to your scalp and keep in place with plastic wrap overnight or under a beanie.

Diet wise, parasites are encouraged by sugar and carbohydrates and killed by bitter things. So quit sugar, cut down on bread and have lots of salad greens and vegetables.

Bitter substances have a 'reducing and weakening effect' on the body. So if you are strong and of good weight, you know you are right to continue a bitter treatment. If you start getting emaciated, then that would be a contradiction/caution to the treatment.

If the treatment you embark on is successful, I would think the parasites would become more active at first, as they become highly agitated, THEN start dying off. I had a beehive in my house walls once, and they had to go. After being sprayed the bees became two or three times as noisy at first, then quietness several hours later as they had died off.

Ok, so treatment wise, a variety of bitter juices every two hours (until you get of top of things), than less after that. A healthy diet without sugar, less bread and plenty of greens, salads and vegetables. Bitter poultices applied to the scalp. This may take from weeks to a few months (but hopefully positive result much sooner!). Keep up treatment for a couple weeks after symptoms go away.

Also research common food spices. Cloves kill parasite eggs for example. Include liberally in your diet.

update:

saw a dermo today. apparently very experienced with cases like this.

i explained most of the problem in detail.

they told me its not uncommon for a patient to make them itch.
also told me, sometimes they never find the cause of the problem,
and they have to just try different treatments.

they listened to everything, spent 1 hour going over things.

they said its definitely not fungus or the likes, it is a parasite of a type.

i explained all the things i have used, and the things i haven't yet.

they prescribed me with a coal tar & sycilic acid topical.
so thats 2 things off the last page.

the reason behind it, is just to clean up my scalp (due to so many diff treatments i had a bit of dandruff..)
so they can look into the problem. or so they say.

i begged for some sort of real treatment, but they said i must clean up my scalp first.

after applying it, i felt a very very light burning for a minute, then a heap of the crawlies all over my face,
then down my chest eventually covering me.

im sure stripping a layer off the skin is what has free'd them up.

that might also explain about the kerosene, because that did the most damage to my skin.

in my case, dandruff is present because i have used to many different products.

i have a parasite. i do not have a fungal infection.

coal tar is for eczema and serbhoric dermatitis. i do not have either.
