The conflict in Libya is a drop in the bucket as far as money, and I don't know what you mean with Somolia, there is no US presence there. I don't think we should be involved in Libya either though.

The money that went to Egypt (which was chump change) was for repair to infastructure such as water and sewer, not mosques. Would I like to have seen it put to work in my country instead, of course, but giving aide to other countries has been going on for ever and it's not going to be so easy to stop.
