Not a "new" find, but definitely worth a look.. In this pic I have taken several google satellite images of the NAB, (Navy Amphibious Base) in Coronodo, CA. *Navy Seal Training Facility*.
After being told about a swastika visible only from the air, made up of multiple buildings somewhere in the compound I started doubting, but to my 'sources' avail it is there. What else caught my interest is the story behind the construction of these six buildings, made to house navy personal and some offices.
My Source is a member of Boat Team 12 and has been stationed in SD for 10 years, meaning his "home" IS, the NAB..
Without saying TOO much he DID mention NAZI engineers...

With Blueprints, it's a known FACT, you KNOW exactly what you are building, long before excavating the build site.

Was this "symbol" (these buildings) being built, just a coincidence???

Is it also just a coincidence that the buildings sit at the intersection of Tulagi and Bougainville — two streets named after famous WWII battles?

I think NOT!!!

"You won't find any public government documents in libraries about this building. It's a Navy building, a barracks, on Navy land, in Coronado, CA. The vetting process for the building would have been internal to the Navy and the architectural firm, Hendrick and Mock, which designed it. Given the design and building dates, 1966 to 1970, all surviving documentation must be with the National Archives. John Mock, the architect, appears to be retired, but is still alive, and there is a web site for his professional biography. The Navy barracks project isn't mentioned".
