Unfortunately the crop circle seems to be man-made. The photographs are not fake, see crop circle connector for more pictures, but the layout is not very perfect, the alien head is awkward, like poorly drawn, there are board marks, the pipe is so human...
Only an on-site investigation could confirm this, but I'd say this is man-made. It's a shame some people go to great lengths to confuse people, and destroy legitimate crops by doing so. Stupid.

There have been crop glyphs that look like our "handicapped" symbol, and one that looked like an alien from the old Space Invaders game - not much different.
