As far as TPTB is concerned; they are very well aware of this mechanism, thus the minions who work for TPTB suffer most as they carry out all their actions and all the people suffer who into their ideas. I believce media plays a great role in spreading the fruition of TPTB's bad karma to the common people who naively buy into them. However; if you pay attention in the last decade or so; you can see the changes and also sense an awakening among people.
