Ok,First of all Karma is a Bitch and just because your Freinds havent had bad things come back around and destroy them yet doesnt mean it wont happen.For instance say your friend with the sales job his wife finds out leaves his ass takes half his things and Child support,allimony,etc... or he gets killed while with another girl,or has an car accident while out screwing around,the friend in the Caribeans might drown or get killed by one of the drug dealing locals.Give it time mark my words thye will pay in the end and Soon.As far as you You are keeping your friends secrets which is just as bad as them doing it you k now he cheats on his Wife yet you dont tell her so Karma might be playing on you at the moment,and you are looking at their life and have some jealousy over them that will Hamper your Success,so quit looking at the way they live and do the right thing and wait for the fire works.Peace

TPTB kill, steal land, rape/torture and send many to kill for them etc etc. If karma were ever real then hear is where it would show itself most obviously, yet TPTB still continue to rule, maintain wealth, eat healthy (we eat can goods and monsanto seeds), vacation, buy land, pay no tax, OWN THE ELECTRIC COMPANIES and are privileged and all while living til like 90.

It's my experience that people do reap what they sow eventually. What you consider 'good' happening to them is not necessarily a measure of how they see life as a whole.

A lot of people who fill their life with 'things' end up empty of what really matters. Keep doing what is right and great will be your reward. Whether in this life or the next, you will find that the things you do, come back to you.

Massive earth changes and natural disaster are the fruition of aggregate bad karms on this planet.

Also, how has the Karmic system, in place for thousands of years, improved the world's situation? Surely as folks resolve their Karmic 'debt', this planet would reflect this, especially the regions where this ancient belief appears to originate from.

How many of you feel guilty when something 'bad' happens to you and you figure you deserve it. How many of you assume Karma is gonna catch up with folks who do bad things? Either in this life or the next one?

What a great way to make people feel bad about themselves, having them always questioning their actions, beliefs, etc., so as not to attract any more bad Karma. You should not have to have the threat of Karma hanging over you to respect yourself, respect others, respect your home planet and be in unconditional love at all time.

Why must we label every experience as either good or bad karma?

We come here to learn and then we move on to other places to learn more; some also returning to Earth. You can't unlearn anything, so as we continue to accelerate our personal evolution, through living multiple lifetimes, whats Karma got to do with it?

Must folks now turn to another system to keep them in line as the old ones crumble? When will we stop needing control mechanisms because we can't trust in ourselves? We must stop being afraid.

I'm just asking my questions out loud and am neutral on karma at this time in my learning.

The popular understanding, along with both dictionary.com and wikipedia are missing the actuality karma. The literal translation for karma is action, which is what wikipedia had it as.

This is where it all starts going wrong.

My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions. My actions are the ground upon which I stand.

The Philosophy of karma is that you, in every moment, are the result of your karma. It is not something coming to you later on, or haunting you, it is every moment and only that moment. For any single action to take place, a multitude of other actions/events must have lined up allowing that event to be. OP, you are not the one who measures out karma for others, the only karma you can ever be truly aware of is your own. Any human can from the present onwards be transformed and this is why we must stop holding the past against each other. Do not hold bad thoughts against the two friends, this in itself diminishes your capacity to produce good karma, the bad thoughts you conjure are yours, not theirs, they are unaffected.
