Inflation is running @ almost 10% so if I put a dollar in the bank @ 2% interest and then pay taxes I am really making negative -9% on my money, So in 11 years that money is worth 0. Most 401K and IRA holders are in it by default and cannot move the money where they see fit. The Price discovery basis for the market has been removed buy the infusions of money through POMO interventions (100's of billions have been injected into the market for the last few years). The problem is how will they sell those purchased securities/equities (unwind) back into the market now that everyone is broke and no one trusts the market enough to buy back into the ponzi scheme. ????? That's the real question as far as I am concerned. My answer is................They can't. |
