First, they said it would not hit earth. Then they said it would be minor. Then they said it would not have much effect. It turned out to be a G3 moderate storm. It did affect GPS and other satellite communication. It had a K value of 8, more than the guestimated 6. If I had to guess, people would only face the truth when the lights go out. Then it's news. Too bad they wouldn't have power to transmit. Don't panic. Until it's too late. |
