Re: LORD WE LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH!!!!!!!!!
"The Narcissistic Virgins" Paul was talking about the Foolish Virgins of our day in this passage, you know! those of us who claim Christ Jesus as their own and yet do not adhere to His teachings. 2 Timothy 3 1You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. 2For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. 4They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!... Know this: that Paul is talking about our generation and not another. Notice also the connotation of religion with the description of narcissistic behavior. Paul is the one who prophesied about the Apostasy in our day. Protestants like to refer the apostasy to Catholics and vise averse but it goes much further than Christian alliances....Judge your own heart and make sure you dont associate with anyone claiming Christ and demonstrating narcissistic behavior. One, just one bad apple it takes to ruin a barrel of apples. .... 10But you, Timothy, certainly know what I teach, and how I live, and what my purpose in life is. You know my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance. 11You know how much persecution and suffering I have endured. You know all about how I was persecuted in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra—but the Lord rescued me from all of it. 12Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. 13But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will deceive others and will themselves be deceived......Make sure you qualify with the positive traits Paul demonstrated; faith, patience, love, endurance.....Do not deceive yourselves or others. All in Heaven and on Earth will know you by the demonstration of your selfless love for others, but it all starts with your love for God...You wouldn't want to be found to be wells without water. You do have the spring of living water in your heart, dont you?....The 'scoffing at God' are the ones claiming religion(active faith in God) these are the ones that Paul was talking about. The very same ones Jesus said would claim Him as their Lord. The very same ones that propheci and cast out demons and performed many works in Jesus' name. The ones who Jesus said they claimed Him as their Lord. Jesus revealed to us where most of our generation will end up in. Outer darkness where the gates of Heaven are sealed shut. Luke 13:25 Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading, 'Sir, open the door for us.' "But he will answer, 'I don't know you or where you come from.' Matt 25:10“But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. 11Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’

12“But he called back, ‘Believe me, I don’t know you!’

13“So you, too, must keep watch! For you do not know the day or hour of my return. Matt 7:21“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter. 22On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’

Building on a Solid Foundation

24“Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. 25Though the rain comes in torrents and the floodwaters rise and the winds beat against that house, it won’t collapse because it is built on bedrock. 26But anyone who hears my teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. 27When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.”

Colossians 2:18-23
18 Let no one lay down rules for you as he pleases, with regard to fasting and the cult of angels, presuming on his visions and inflated by his sensuous notions, 19 instead of keeping in touch with that Head under whom the entire Body, supplied with joints and sinews and thus compacted, grows with growth divine. 20 As you died with Christ to the Elemental spirits of the world, why live as if you still belonged to the world? Why submit to rules and regulations like 21 "Hands off this!" "Taste not that!" "Touch not this!" — 22 referring to things that perish by being used? These rules are determined by human precepts and tenets; 23 they get the name of 'wisdom' with their self-imposed devotions, with their fasting, with their rigorous discipline of the body, but they are of no value, they simply pamper the flesh! 1 Peter 4:18
And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, where will the irreverent and sinful man appear?

---- Where is this door attached to? We find the answer in verse 28. It is a 'place' outside this planet, its a dimension a holding place a prison. One day, I mean night, in there will seem like an eternity. None of us want to go there. The only way out in now in turning our unkind and insincere hearts to the Light to transform us into the image of the Light. That's all, its not a burden but a freedom from the sinful prison that we are in. We reap what we sow. The Lord used the term 'servant' whom He was referring to those who claim Him as Lord yet He never got to know them for they were far from Him and their actions showed it....The only way out of our prison is to get to know the God of all authority. To know Him is to love Him and in turn others for He loves all. Simply stating that you love God is not enough to change you and others around you. Its not works, its genuine love that produces the fruits of the regenerated spirit born from above.....The 'servant' was the Bride which is a euphemism for the people of God who claim God but do not listen with intent to follow His teachings. Follow Jesus' teachings and you will find freedom and love and peace, eternally!

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21500116

Matt 25:10“But while they were gone to buy oil, the bridegroom came. Then those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was locked. 11Later, when the other five bridesmaids returned, they stood outside, calling, ‘Lord! Lord! Open the door for us!’
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21500116

I guess you could look at the place called Outer Darkness as a holding cell to contain souls with the viruses mentioned in 2 Timothy 3: 1-5. Like hatred, unkindness slander and every evil and negative trait that a soul is enslaved to. Incubation, for those with these deadly viruses of the soul which manifests in our 3D physical form. God is Love and He will not endanger Heaven with these illnesses of the spirit and soul. All of us will be weighed on the scales of Justice. Make sure that the light in you is truly the Light of Heaven, if it isn't great is your darkness and you do not love the Light, you love your own ego more than God the Creator.

You ever have fears? you ever have doubts? you ever have anxieties? Ever notice it feels better when you verbally express them to a friend or relative of some of your problems or worries? People search for some one who will care enough to just listen to the problems they have. Some times we just cant find some one who we can express our anxieties to. There is always God we can share these weights that we carry on our minds and hearts. Myself, when I cant find someone to share with I turn to God for help. My brother Peter had strong shoulders but even then he needed a little help outside the human sphere of things and this is what he said; "Cast all your anxiety on Him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7....Hey! even great men of God, godly souls, had doubts and fears but they never lost their faith. Elijah one of the greatest prophets ever, even my brother Peter had his moments of doubts and fears. John the Baptist the greatest man ever born of women had his moment of doubt-yet none of us is any least so said the Son of God Luke 7:28 . Christ Jesus his cousin didnt chastise him he confirmed his faith, encouraged him. Jesus my Savior your Savior the Savior of all wont turn you away if you turn to Him and share whats on your mind. But in order to do this you need to have faith that He will listen to you with concern and He is concerned with your concerns. I leave you with these scriptures to meditate on as you prepare your hearts to unload them to the Lord: Psalm 68:19 Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.....Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you....Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.....Psalm 37:7 Be still in the presence of the Lord,

and wait patiently for him to act....Here's my brother Peter's favorite scripture :) mine too :) Psalm 37:24
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.....Faith is not incumbent on our personal failures or our anxieties, however trust is-trust in the Lord, even when we hurt . Blessings, many of them!

Psalm 68:19 New Living Translation (©2007)
Praise the Lord; praise God our savior! For each day he carries us in his arms.....Hey! He does carry us, when we hurt most. When a child hurts themselves from a fall they will be carried immediately by their parent, even if it is just a scrape and a cut and a bruise. The pain is still there but so is the comforting until the pain subsides. God is our Father and He cares for us just as much as a parent, even more so.

Sitting at the feet of Jesus
Where can mortals be more blest
There I lay my sins and sorrows
And, when weary, find sweet rest
Sitting at the feet of Jesus
There I love to weep and pray
While I from His fullness gather
Grace and comfort every day

Bless me, O my Savior, bless me
Give me, Lord, the mind of Jesus
Make me holy as He is
May I prove I've been with Jesus
Who is all my righteousness

He is all my righteousness
He is all my righteousness

Re: LORD WE LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH!!!!!!!!!
Watchers, would be Watchers this is for you. There is no such thing as Watchers in the bible. Ezekiel had a title as a Watchman but with the title he had supernatural talent and abilities for such a role, so back off! When Jesus our Messiah told us to watch and pray he did not mean to look for signs and visions and dreams, he meant to be awake spiritually. Alert of our spiritual condition of the heart and our behavior towards others. The Foolish sleep-they are not aware of their spiritual condition and cant as a result discern the condition of others-and how could they they have no reference point of their own. The Wise are awake spiritually and are actively concerned about their spiritual condition and will try to provide guidance as the Lord leads.....To be sure we are to pay attention to the prophetic signs that we are currently witnessing. But what good does it do if your heart is not right? that's right, none! The time draws near and all of your studying is useless unless your heart condition is in good standing with the Lord and with all life in the Universe...Shutting your eyes to your fellow man and to God in voiding your responsibilities to God and man does not get unnoticed by the Lord. Many of you are truly ignorant because very very very few speak up for the Truth, hence the sleep the spiritual sleep. Pillow prophets for sleepy Christians. And the prophets the wanna-bees who harass(beat with condemnation) the Lords people are in for a worse fate, nah its the same, its bad either way.... Matthew 23... but do not ye after their works; for they say, and do not. 4 Yea, they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with their finger. 5 But all their works they do to be seen of men ......When the doors are closed then will the sleepy and most foolish Christians scream out to the wise Christians as to how they can escape their fate but it will be to late by then! Get ready now! but how can you when you wont listen? You cant, you say your listening but your words that express action does not cohere.

Revelation 3:2 Weymouth NT
2 Rouse yourself and keep awake, and strengthen those things which remain but have well-nigh perished; for I have found no doings of yours free from imperfection in the sight of My God.
It was a warning from the Lord to those who profess Him as Lord. Their conscious spiritual mind/heart was falling into a sleep. Revelation 3:1 I know your doings--you are supposed to be alive, but in reality you are dead(spiritually of course-asleep).

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen

Reciting prayers is most honorable for in it we focus our attention on the Father of us all. Also we learn how to pray unselfishly and learn how to pray in the spirit, the unselfish aspect of our humanity.
It is most kosher to recite prayer and when you have a moment you can also share what is on your own heart to God our Father. The Psalms are recited and so they where meant to be to encourage others to learn the mind and heart of God, for most do not take the initiative for themselves.
When we recite prayer without reverent attention to God from the heart then it becomes vain. Do not insult or forbid others from seeking God in the sincerity of their hearts. Do not offend each others faith. The goal is love for God and love for each other. In this are we truly one, one in respect one in honor one in love. Do this and your Father will truly bless you, in more ways than you think to understand.

We're one
But we're not the same
Well we
Hurt each other
Then we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
Love is a temple
Love the higher law
You ask me to enter
But then you make me crawl
And I can't be holding on
To what you got
When all you got is hurt

Awesome thread! I've never seen it before.

One of my favorites songs is "Redeemer" by Nicole Mullen

[link to www.youtube.com]

Borrowed this from ya OP

Lets Praise the King of Kings, and the Lord of Lords!

JESUS IS LORD!!!

WE red_heart YOU JESUS!!!

AND WE COME TO WORSHIP YOU!!!

LYRICS
FOR
REDEEMER

Who taught the sun where to stand in the morning? and Who told the ocean you can only come this far? and Who showed the moon where to hide 'til evening? Whosse words alone can catch a falling star?

Well I know my Redeemer lives I know my Redeemer lives: Let all creations testify Let this, life within me cry I know my Redeemer lives, yeah.

The very same God that spins things in orbit runs to the weary, the worn and the weak And the same gentle hands that hold me when I'm broken They conquered death to bring me victory

Now I know my Redeemer lives I know my Redeemer lives Let all creations testify Let this life within we cry I know my Redeemer, He lives To take away my shame And He lives forever, I'll proclaim

That the payment for my sin Was the precious life He gave But now He's alive and There's an empty grave.

And I know my Redeemer lives I know my Redeemer lives Let all creations testify Let this life within me cry I know my Redeemer,

I know my Redeemer I know my Redeemer lives I know my Redeemer lives I know that I know that I know that I know that I know my redeemer lives Because He lives I can face tomorrow I Know I know He lives He lives yeah, yeah I spoke with him this morning He lives He lives, the tomb is empt

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I Corinthians 2:14

God doesn't choose favorites.. They choose HIM

It is not the greatness of my faith that moves mountains but my faith in the greatness of God

However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task
the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24

"This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42

Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him;
and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen.

Re: LORD WE LIFT YOUR NAME ON HIGH!!!!!!!!!
Matthew 25:21 “The master was full of praise. ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities.'..This parable has nothing to do with money, it has to do with faithful servitude according to your abilities based on how well you hear and understand what Jesus' Kingdom is all about.

These 'servants' had abilities some more so then others. How the servants use their talents for the good or for the bad is based on how well they understand how Christ wants them to use it.
The talents are how well we apply the wisdom and knowledge and love of God to each soul in regards to the gospel. Are our talents being appropriated correctly? Are we presenting the gospel as it was presented by Christ Jesus or are we presenting a distorted gospel that has the Name of Jesus attached to it?

If a servant is hearing another voice other than the pure voice of the Shepherd of the souls of men, then they are putting the talents to waste and void any good affect that the gospel has on souls. The Money Perverts who distorted this parable of Christ Jesus I do not envy at all. However if we close our eyes to the abuse we to will be held accountable.

Its not about money it is about the gospel and that is the talent which we are to wield, the sword of the Lord. Some have more skill than others on wielding the gospel.

But God has placed responsibility on all servants, from the lowest(me) to the very highest learned and educated woman and man-the powerful. Some are Wise Virgins(servants of the Kingdom) and some are Foolish Virgins(servants of the Kingdom). By this parable alone we see that we will all give account for our use of talents(responsibilities).
Notice that Matthew chapter 25 revolves around Christianity and the servants(you me and all that name the name of Jesus). All 3 parables in this chapter are about our Christian duty to be faithful to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Preaching, casting out demons and prophesying or any kind of Christian service can be deduced to 2 levels: are you doing it according to the gospel or are you doing it for your own agenda or the agenda of others?

All lot of people here alone in this forum talk alot about God but what are their agendas and are they presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ faithfully and accurately, the heart has to ask. But you cant fool Christ, you can fool others but the price of accountability was made clear by the Son of God.

It would be a shame and travesty if we used others for our own benefits; fame wealth power, political or otherwise. It would be worse if we did it at the expanse of the person or persons in feigning genuine frienship at the cost of the others we use-key word: use.

I hope most of us will not be found guilty of using others in such a cruel manner. It would be even worse if we are found guilty in using the fame and power of the Son of God in such manner. And I think that many will be found in this travesty. Vain glory is fleeting when you compare time to eternity.

...did we not in your Name do these many works? The Son of God turns to them as says: 'truly I never knew you'

Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

I was walking
I was walking into walls
I'm back again
I just keep walking
I walk into a window
To see myself
And my reflection
When I thought about it
My direction
Going nowhere

No one...no one is blinder
Than he who will not see

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
I Corinthians 2:14

God doesn't choose favorites.. They choose HIM

It is not the greatness of my faith that moves mountains but my faith in the greatness of God
