Up 110 points.Only because everyone will realize that the FED is going to start QE3 on Tuesday.

Tuesday up 300 points,along will all commodities shooting through the roof(accept silver,which JPM will desperately try to keep a lid on...hope they fail,but with unlimited fiat paper they will do some damage).

I don't work in the financial industry, but that tends to happen to me too.

Mu gut feeling, is the S&P downgraded after the market was closed so there would be less of a knee jerk reaction and the weekend would absorb most of the anxiety, thus I see the Dow up over 200 points by the close.

Yup - down 3,000 for the week or from 11,444 to 8,444. Mark my words it'll be similar to the flash crash of 2009 or was it 2010???

U.S. based investment instruments will take a direct hit.

The U.S. debt being downgraded is being interpreted as the dollar is already worthless.

People worldwide have no way to interpret this downgrade but as the worst doom imaginable and they have to be first to unload their dollar-oriented investments.

they already interviened last week to the tune of 300 billion dollars they cant buy anymore i see a drop of over 3000 points in the first hour. its done.. over... finished.
