The Hindus' belief in racial reincarnation is an error. There are many errors in their belief, just as there are in christianity.

That's kind of the whole point, the purpose of living is to relearn who we are. It wouldn't make sense if we already knew things from before, though in ways we do. But part of the experience is remembering that.

Why did Buddha teach reincarnation? Technically, Buddha didn’t. Reincarnation originated from Buddha’s former religion Hinduism, which is a religious tradition based on the caste system. The four Hindu castes range in colour from white (at the top) to red to brown to black (at bottom). Hindus believe that being born with dark skin is the result of bad karma, but being born with white skin is a sign of good karma. Just as evolution served to justify many whites’ persecution of Australian Aborigines (who were tagged as less ‘evolved’), so too reincarnation serves to justify the racial, social and economic stratification of the East.

The word ‘Aryan’, which Nazis used to refer to a ‘master race’, actually comes from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘noble’; as in arya sat yani in Sanskrit or ariya sat see in Thai, meaning the ‘four noble truths’. Adolf Hitler adopted his racist plans from two anti-Christian influences: evolution and Hinduism. Nearly all Hindus and Buddhists who believe in reincarnation desire to come back in the next life with whiter skin, as Aryans are at the top of the caste system.

Westerners are usually shocked to find this out. Westerners generally tend to believe in the equality of the races because of their Christian background. Oh and here's another thing too. We cannot discount the fact that souls are not just human but animal as well. One can live as a man or woman in one life, or a dog in another. Just because they were in a human body once, doesn't mean it's all they can be.

I had a friend in college who insisted she was a tiger in a past life and had memories of it. At the time, I dismissed it being Christian still then. Now though......I wouldn't doubt if she was right. So don't think the human soul is all there is here, cause that isn't the case.

What you come back as, depends on your assignment. You can be Elvis Presley this time around, then a worm on the next run and after being eaten by the chicken, you can be a chicken the next time.

There's no upward order, but rather, placement and placement always depends on what parts you've played already. Like me, I'm a young soul at 14 billion earth years old, so I haven't played as many parts as a soul that's been around for trillions of earth years. I have many parts still left to play and I can't wait!

I agree with you, accept: My Teachers taught me that "animals" don't have "souls" yet! That they are an extension of our spirits........they get "soul" later on, as they move up the ladder!

Yes exactly, someone has to run the body. Reminds me of this video I saw, can't find it now, but the basic idea was that the soul never dies, just the body. Without the soul inhabiting it, the body would not exist. Without US, none of this would exist. Think about that.....we are more powerful than we know.
