How do you know? How can you be so sure? If your mind is already convinced there is one way and one way only, you're going to base your "knowledge" of these other things on that. Until you have opened your mind, you can't know what you think you know.

so because I do not subscribe to new age philosophy and BS, that I do not have an open mind.

I choose to believe in things that actually make sense that is all.

Why did Buddha teach reincarnation? Technically, Buddha didn’t. Reincarnation originated from Buddha’s former religion Hinduism, which is a religious tradition based on the caste system. The four Hindu castes range in colour from white (at the top) to red to brown to black (at bottom). Hindus believe that being born with dark skin is the result of bad karma, but being born with white skin is a sign of good karma. Adolf Hitler adopted his racist plans from two anti-Christian influences: evolution and Hinduism. Nearly all Hindus and Buddhists who believe in reincarnation desire to come back in the next life with whiter skin, as Aryans are at the top of the caste system.

Indeed He did. Most scripture referring to reincarnation where removed in the 3rd Century.

Reincarnation is fact people.

No because you dismiss it without even knowing what you are dismissing.

And don't even try that making sense business either, because there is no way that a belief system that teaches man is inherantly evil because of what two people did thousands of years before any of us were born, makes any sense whatsoever. Believe it if you wish, but it doesn't now and never will make sense.

And oh, by the way, Jesus did talk about reincarnation - that concept was removed from his teachings a couple hundred years after he died because it was deemed too controversial and didn't fit the narrative that Christian leaders wanted their followers to believe.

Reincarnation is just another wrong religious belief. It has no basis in reality, it's merely a belief. That is my current understanding.

Why wasn't anyone simply a housewife?
Housewives were very common... isn't it the MOST likely past life?

My religion, at least Eatern Catholicism, does not teach that. It simply says Man inherited the stain of Original Sin by Adam. We are in essence a fallen race. It does not say mankind is inherently evil.
