Origins of reincarnation
Origins of reincarnation

Why did Buddha teach reincarnation? Technically, Buddha didn’t. Reincarnation originated from Buddha’s former religion Hinduism, which is a religious tradition based on the caste system. The four Hindu castes range in colour from white (at the top) to red to brown to black (at bottom). Hindus believe that being born with dark skin is the result of bad karma, but being born with white skin is a sign of good karma. Just as evolution served to justify many whites’ persecution of Australian Aborigines (who were tagged as less ‘evolved’), so too reincarnation serves to justify the racial, social and economic stratification of the East.

The word ‘Aryan’, which Nazis used to refer to a ‘master race’, actually comes from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘noble’; as in arya sat yani in Sanskrit or ariya sat see in Thai, meaning the ‘four noble truths’. Adolf Hitler adopted his racist plans from two anti-Christian influences: evolution and Hinduism. Nearly all Hindus and Buddhists who believe in reincarnation desire to come back in the next life with whiter skin, as Aryans are at the top of the caste system.

For many in our culture, the penchant towards evolutionary thinking (coupled with the spiritual hunger we all have, being created in God’s image) means that they are increasingly toying with mystical and ‘spiritual’ notions such as reincarnation, ideas that have a long history of justifying social stratification and racial inequalities.

Westerners are usually shocked to find this out. Westerners generally tend to believe in the equality of the races because of their Christian background. This is despite the negative effects of evolutionary indoctrination tending otherwise. Though many in the West are no longer practising Christians, yet we have had the truth of Creation taught for many centuries. The abolition movements of the 18th and 19th century were led by creation-believing Christians like William Wilberforce. The world owes much of its present freedom to Christ, Christians and creationism (all men are created equal by God). If, as evolutionary thinking erodes the authority of the Bible in people’s minds, we allow our Christian heritage to be stripped away from our Western schools and government and law, we will lose the very foundation upon which Christians struggled to lay our society, with all its blessings.

That's the thing to think about, if the Bible is shown false, if religion is shown false, all the power those in high places have over people will cease to be. That is what they don't want, and why this this consciousness change is fought against so much.

"And the disciples asked him, saying, "Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"

But he answered them and said, "Elijah indeed is to come and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hand."
Then the disciples understood that he had spoken of John the Baptist." (Matt. 17:10-13)

Malachi 4:1-6 speaks of God sending “Elijah” before the coming of the “great and dreadful day of the Lord.” Jesus already made reference to Mal. 3:1 stating that John was the messenger preparing the way before Him. In Mal. 4, John is the Elijah, that is, he would do just as the prophet Elijah in that he would turn the hearts of the people back to God. He would do this in order to prepare them from the coming of Jesus. However, Jesus’ coming would also bring a “great and dreadful day” in which the Jewish nation would be destroyed by God’s judgment because of their rejection of the Messiah. We too face a great and dreadful day if we do not serve the Lord. Do not procrastinate! That day will surely come (2 Pet. 3:3

 Quoting: Neesie

Contrary to popular Christian dogma, Christ did teach about karma,reincarnation,self-realization & the Divine Feminine as Holy Ghost--God the Mother. Christ's teachings are more Eastern than the Churches would have people believe or would care to admit. In the Book of Thomas, Christ tells us "For whoever does not know self, does not know anything, but whoever knows self, already has acquired knowledge about the depth of the universe". In the Secret Gospel of Thomas, Christ promises us spiritual fulfillment "I shall give you what no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, what no hand has touched and what has never arisen in the human mind."
The process of spiritual awakening by which a person attains truth-awareness is called self-realization.

The first great Father of the early orthodox Church was Origen (A.D. 185-254) who was the first person since Paul to develop a system of theology around the teachings of Jesus. Origen was a disciple of Clement of Alexandria who was a disciple of the apostle Peter. Clement & Origen wrote about receiving secret teachings of Jesus handed down from the apostles. One of these secret teachings was the concept of physical & spiritual rebirth.
The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages & generations, but is now disclosed to the saints is... To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col. 1:25-27) Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed. (1 Cor. 15:51)

The doctrines of pre-existence & reincarnation existed as secret teachings of Jesus until they were declared a heresy by the Roman Church in 553 A.D. It was at this time that the Roman Church aggressively destroyed competing teachings & so-called heresies within the church. Along with the destruction of unorthodox teachings came the destruction of Jews, Gnostics & ultimately anyone who stood in the way of the Inquisition & Crusades. References to "reincarnation" were removed by the church in the Second Council of Constantinople in 553 A.D. for its own selfish & nefarious purposes a long time after the original gospels were supposedly written. It said, "Whosoever shall support the mythical doctrine of the pre-existence of the soul and the consequent wonderful opinion of its return, let him be anathema."

Jesus taught a more exalted form of resurrection - a spiritual rebirth (awakening) within the body by the Spirit of God. This was one of his higher teachings which he passed on only to his closest disciples. But it was frequently misunderstood by the public.. especially in later centuries when the Church of Rome yielded more political power. This new form of resurrection is a mystical union & at-one-ment of the human body & spirit w/ the divine Spirit of God. In fact, this mystical teaching of uniting the human w/ the divine is a very ancient teaching that has been around for thousands of years before Jesus but, has existed mostly in the East.

Jesus referred to this mystical process as becoming born again of the spirit. It's the liberation of the spirit from the cycle of birth & death. It means eternal citizenship in heaven never to experience death again. To be "born again of water" is a reference to reincarnation (the resurrection of the spirit into a new body).

Reincarnation is the physical rebirth of the spirit of a dead person into the body of a fetus.
Resurrection is the giving of spiritual life to a spiritually dead but, physically alive person.

Jesus said,"I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."” (Matt. 18:3-5)

Because the traditional concept of resurrection involves the soul sleeping until the time of the end & not being active, the conclusion is that bodily resurrection is false because it is refuted by the Book of Enoch, Jacob's dream of a passageway where souls return & leave heaven, the teachings of Jesus, & the cases & cases of near-death experiences that prove the soul journeys to heaven & returns to reincarnate.

In the Secret Book of John, Christ says human redemption before the Heavenly Father occurs by the mediation of a Divine Feminine principle, which he calls the Earthly Mother. It's the Earthly Mother who removes the sins of the children that they can become worthy of their divine heritage; "when all sins and all uncleanesses are gone from your body, your blood shall become as pure as our Earthly Mother's blood and as pure as the river's foam sporting in the sunlight. And your breath shall become as pure as the breath of odorous flowers; your flesh as pure as the flesh of fresh fruits reddening upon the leaves of trees; the light of your eye as clear and bright as the brightness of the sun shining upon the blue sky. And now shall all the angels of the Earthly Mother serve you and your breath, your blood, your flesh shall be one with the breath, the blood and the flesh of the Earthly Mother, that your spirit also become one with the Spirit of your Heavenly Father. For truly no-one can reach the Heavenly Father unless through the Heavenly Mother. Even as the newborn babe cannot understand the teaching of his father until his mother has suckled him, bathed him, nursed him, put him to sleep and nurtured him". In the Secret Book of John, Christ's describes the Divine Feminine as the power of God Almighty. "She is the first power. She preceded everything, and came forth from the Father's mind as forethought of all. Her light resembles the Father's light; as the perfect power She is the image of the perfect and invisible Virgin Spirit. She is the first power, the glory, Barbello, the perfect glory among the worlds, the emerging glory, She glorified and praised the Virgin Spirit for she had come forth through the Spirit. She is the first thought, image of the Spirit. She became the universal womb, for She precedes everything, the common parent, the first humanity, the Holy Spirit".

Christs spirituality differed alot from our modern understanding. His teaching was so dynamic & zen-like which focused on the experience of inner purification & transformation, the elevation of the seekers awareness into the state of self-realization. Christ sought to overthrow the immoral culture of the Romans & to deliver to the arrogant Jews the mystic fulfillment promised to them in the Mosaic covenant.

Christ said.. "Seek not the law in your Scriptures for the law is life, whereas the Scripture is dead. I tell you truly Moses received not his laws from God as writing but through the living word. The law is living word for living God to living prophets for living men. In everything that is life to the law is the law written, for I tell you truly all living things are nearer to God than the Scripture which is without life. I tell you truly that the Scripture is the work of man, but life and all its hosts are the work of our God. Wherefore do you not listen to the words of God which are written in his works? And wherefore do you study the dead Scriptures which are from the hands of men?"
He urges us to perceive & experience the cosmic order for ourselves..we are not to rely on the so-called scriptural authorities to give it to us. Christians in the west are comprised mainly of individuals w/ such little knowledge of their connection to the cosmic order. Christian religion today has little bearing on spirituality. They don't realize spirituality & its experience depend on their behaviors. The churches unauthorized cancellation of these principles has separated the western awareness from its spiritual roots. The poverty of not living your life right in the west today rests considerably upon the shoulders of the Protestant & Catholic churches who have propagated their subtly Anti-Christian doctrines for over 1000 years. blwkss

In the Hindu caste system, the whiter you are the more "royal" (Noble) you are... so the very white British had no major trouble with the dark Indian population.

Reminds me of Cortes invading, conquering & then governing the Indian populations of South America... they too were waiting for "white gods" to arrive and so welcomed them with open arms.

Nearly all Hindus and Buddhists who believe in reincarnation desire to come back in the next life with whiter skin, as Aryans are at the top of the caste system.
 Quoting: Neesie

Incidentally, this was the main reason why the British East India company found it so very easy to invade, conquer & then govern the Indian sub-continent.

I'm saying, when one actually has experienced something, what a book says doesn't quite hold so much water. You don't even know what the person's experiences have been like, yet you shoot it down anyway before it even can be said. You speak with such a closed mind. There's a whole other world that exists beyond that book, you should explore it sometime. Life is to be experienced, not just read about.

Re: Origins of reincarnation
If, as evolutionary thinking erodes the authority of the Bible in people’s minds, we allow our Christian heritage to be stripped away from our Western schools and government and law, we will lose the very foundation upon which Christians struggled to lay our society, with all its blessings.
 Quoting: Neesie

And all it's control too.........

That's the thing to think about, if the Bible is shown false, if religion is shown false, all the power those in high places have over people will cease to be. That is what they don't want, and why this this consciousness change is fought against so much.
 Quoting: ajk

Morpheus: A singular consciousness that spawned an entire race of machines. We don't know who struck first, us or them. But we know that it was us that scorched the sky. At the time they were dependent on solar power and it was believed that they would be unable to survive without an energy source as abundant as the sun. Throughout human history, we have been dependent on machines to survive. Hah, fate it seems is not without a sense of irony. The human body generates more bio-electricity than a 120-volt battery and over 25,000 BTU's of body heat. Combined with a form of fusion the machines had found all the energy they would ever need. There are fields, endless fields, where human beings are no longer born, we are grown. For the longest time I wouldn't believe it, and then I saw the fields with my own eyes. Watch them liquefy the dead so they could be fed intravenously to the living. And standing there, facing the pure horrifying precision, I came to realize the obviousness of the truth. What is the Matrix? Control. The Matrix is a computer generated dream world, built to keep us under control in order to change a human being into this.

Reincarnation isn't what's going on but it is closer to the truth than the other answer of being born, living a life of sin, then going to hell afterwards. voodew Look to the Borg for clues to the truth. WeBorg

Re: Origins of reincarnation
Yes, we know that christianity is not the ONLY religion that gleefully and happily supports slavery.

So what?

The Hindus' belief in racial reincarnation is an error. There are many errors in their belief, just as there are in christianity.

But they share some errors, like the outright support of racial slavery.

Re: Origins of reincarnation

 Quoting: Neesie

Abey CHUTIYE!

Hindu Caste system is not based on color you idiot and an excuse for a stupid stoner. Hindu Caste system is based on Vedic caste system which is constructed on the basis of the Profession that one was given.

DO YOUR RESEARCH AND THEN TALK BEHENCHOD.
