wow!!! i'm so sorry for your mom, how scary! i live 40 minutes south of that plant and worry myself about it and what would happen if that had a melt down. take care op of you and your family.  yes maybe its cause she is only 9 miles from COOK nuclear plant ... maybe the state has ( or is now trying to come up with ) some sort of evacuation plan ? !! Blessings to you and your family as well ...
