President Obama, speaking in the White House's East Room, said Eckert "was an inspiration to me and to so many others, and I pray that her family finds peace and comfort in the hard days ahead." A week before her death, Eckert met with Obama at the White House as part of a group of 9/11 families and relatives of those killed in the bombing of the USS Cole, discussing how the new administration would handle terror suspects. |

Are you saying that there were no seals on the chinook or that they wernt the seals that found Osama? Do you think that what's being reported was a mistake or part of a script? I can't think of any kind of reason why they would intuitionally lie about this. If anything it was a mistake by reporters but how do you mistake 6 random soldiers for 6 of the navy seals that found Osama? Navy seal are high profile, especially the one that found Osama. who's lying? news reports are saying that the Seals aboard the Chinook belonged to the same unit that killed OBL. That unit is Seal team Six. I'm certain that the Seal team six unit has many more members than just those that raided OBL's compound. The Seals that raided OBL's compound weren't the entire unit of Seal Team Six. I assume that the Seal Team Six unit has at least several hundred members. People are just lacking in reading comprehension or knowledge in assuming that when the media says "unit that raided raided OBL's compound" that the media means the actual people that participated in the raid. When they say "unit" they are referiing to the entirity of Seal Team Six. Seal Team Six IS A UNIT. Wait, I'm confused. So what your saying is that the media wants us to think that the whole unit was killed when actually only six got killed? Your thread says none of them were Seals. Or did I comprehend that wrong to? I'm starting to think that every time you point out that people are having trouble comprehending words that maybe your just projecting your own weakness. Your not making any sense dude. Sorry. OMG. I'm repeating the reports that say 22 Navy Seals were killed and many of them were a part of Seal Team 6 and that not one member of Seal Team 6 that participated in the raid that killed OBL was killed when the helicopter was shot down Friday evening. That is what the media is saying. A lot of posters here seem to think that when the media is saying that members of Seal Team 6 members were killed and Seal Team 6 is the unit that killed Bin Laden these posters think that when the media says "unit" that they mean the specific people that raided the compound. Seal Team 6 IS A UNIT. There are several hundred personnel in this unit. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1477500I'll admit: it took a little reading comprehension to understand that point. Gotta love commie rags like the Post. (Or was that a wire story?) Normally I refuse to visit that site because it jams up my PC every time (popups?), and I have to start closing windows down via Task Manager. FAUX News does the same thing, and I won't go there either. How about turning off pop-ups and installing Ad blocker? man, easy fixes my friend. |
